Holy! Enugu has changed so much. We used to live there. Was there 1974-1985. We first lived in Lugard Crescent then moved to Emole St. So many memories. Ekulu East? Is that anywhere my old school Ekulu Primary School? Was that formerly the golf club grounds beside the school? I obviously have no idea how much worth a Naira is nowadays. How much is a Naira to a US dollar now? In my time - I remember it to be 1 Naira = USD 3.00!

Welldone Mrs. Arlin You did a good job.Please speak slowly so that so of us can understand you more.Some of us left Nigeria for a while now. We feel more like strangers to our people. 🤣🤣 I love these places, but water situation in enugu and Abakaliki is very discouraging, all this beautiful homes without the basics?l personally think it's a greater achievement to have these basic infrastructures working than mansions.A beautiful environment with all the basics working is a higher standard of living in my humble opinion than mansions. Why can't our people cover drainage? Again cobwebs in the name of electric cables, we should go beyond this. Can't we do some good for ourselves? This is the problem with most estates in Nigeria. I was surprised that even at Ikoyi drains are open and people like Tinubu who want to rule Nigeria and have stolen so much from the system lack aesthetic eyes.

A LIE. An outright lie. For the hundredth time, you cant use Lagos as a yardstick for any othe rplace in Nigeria- and yes, including Abuja. Lagos is th FIRST capital of Nigeria, and been capital for the LONGEST time. So, your position is flawed. Compare Enugu with Ibadan, Abeokuta, Kano & Katsina. Thanks.

@@aceofspades2966 you're right but I was respecting Igbo state to look better because of the industrious people when you get to alaba international market you'll find out 99% of the people that runs it are igbos same with Ikeja computer village and it has contributed to the growth of Lagos and the revenue generated from all their establishment has been used well by their government even though some still end up in political thieves pulse. Check Aba, onitcha, nnewi etc. The businesses done there are enough to bring development to the States and her growth

Those are upgraded villages dear sister, no walk ways, no relaxation areas, I don't know why Igbos are deliberately celebrating mediocrity in their land. No single city to call ours that's of world class, everything is patched up and down everywhere. Others are developing their cities and we're running to them for investment, but cannot use a single city in the Southeast to show the perfect example of Igbo man's ingenuous spirit, its a pity. Amaka, you CANT call these upgraded villages, bcos you didnt see walkways, relaxation areas. STOP de-marketing what is beautiful, esp. when you possibly have NONE! Enugu, and yes Igbo land, generally, have some of the very best residential areas & estates in the entire nation.
