This is not our priority in enugu,there are many hotels in enugu where conferences can take place,he should go to Akpakpa,emene,Garki,Mary land,iva valley,even Ngwo and night mile to open and build standard wild new roads to bring visible developments in these areas.

From security point of view, it worth it. Is not safe to travel on road from enugu to eboyn due to kidnapping on the roads.

he should build a big and modern university, secondary and primary school that what we need
@nenitafrica6851
@nenitafrica6851 Күн бұрын
That is not what you need; some of you lack the capacity to think ahead. All the universities in Enugu, have you occupied all of them? This is the reason Nigeria is filled with bad leaders who have no vision. Infrastructure is what you need before anything else. Infrastructure attracts population; population makes businesses boom, which in turn generates income for the state. People from the Southeast relocate to other places for business, not because those places are more developed than the Southeast but because of loneliness, which affects businesses by not having the right population. People run to Lagos not because of something special about it, but because of the infrastructure the federal government built there. I support the governor 100%. For now, he should stop investing in anything else and build Enugu into a world-class city.

It's so sad that all we have are functional illiterates everywhere. You're building a "Building a Mega Smart City..."? If that governor had an ounce of a brain, it would have occurred to him that his "Mega Smart City" would be built with imported nails, screws, hinges, nuts, bolts, rods, fasteners, and, indeed, all the fixtures in his "Mega" structure. A foundry would have far more economic impact than anything he's dreaming about. Such would generate massive employment and most of metal products that would be used in building his mega city would be a by-product of the foundry as numerous metal products manufacturers would spring up. There's absolutely something wrong with the way black men reason.

Please stop deleting my objective comments. I am not insukting anybody therefore it is unfair to keep deleting my comments. It is one year aleady since the noise about new city buzzing the airwaves yet nothing on the ground convincing there will be smart city before Peter mbah term is over. My concerned is the amount of money borrowed in the name of enugu which has raised debt of the state high. The past governor Ugwuanyi came up with something city and lion industrial park, today they are abandoned, nothing is happening there. I said that this smart city is not necessarily since we have centinary city which has attracted private individuals and progressing well. All Peter mbah need to do is get architect to incorporate whatever he would like to see in the centinary city, and use the money he has borrowed to give comprehensive face-lift to the dilapidated urban areas and create high street with the existing streets, just like the marina in lagos and oxford street in london. It takes long to build a city, Roman empire with all it power and wealth still it took them years to build Rome. Peter mbah has 3 years to go before next election, so what is the guarantee that he can attain this feat before his term is over ? only God who knows his motive knows the answer .

Please keep your mouth shut if you dnt have anything reasonable to say, a project was abandoned for over 17 years by the previous administration,and this current government is making efforts to complete the project and your are saying that the governor should go to Awka and see the one there, are you normal at all. So the governor should demolish this one and go to Awka and take their own structural design to build in Enugu.

Bro, Good. Now, will all those defacing old Enugu City-.i.e. taking over recreational parks, conference centre and hotel presidential premises, railway land etc. to build estates come here now and leave old Enugu alone? What the city needs here is to create a cluster of skyscrapers to change the city's skyline and save space for other uses, NOT same old same old crappy bungalows everywhere.
