We've been caravaning for over 30 years and have always used a pressure cooker for stews, vegetables, gammon joints for ham, homemade curries etc. I can't understand why no vloggers seem to use one.

Hi Nigel, we keep thinking of bringing along our slow cook but we'd need to always be on EHU so we couldn't drive any where. We could cycle or walk of course. Plus they take up a lot of room. Great idea though 👍👍

It all looked so good. Never seen a Halogen oven.. interesting. Really love the BBQ and leftover idea... but you can't go wrong with a good stew now can you. Nice video, thank you for sharing.

Yum yum the one pot stew looks great, but would have to be without chickpeas.

Great video Ads & Zoe. We do a similar dish pasta with tinned tin tuna then put it in oven with cheese on top (Tuna pasta bake), we had a halogen oven but couldn't master using it so it was cast aside & sent to oven heaven 👍

Thanks Andrew and Karen, we found the cooking times were similar to our home oven but also you can see what's going on through the glass.

Thanks for offering your Top 3 meals. Best meals come from my OMNIA oven. Never thought that I could cook so well in my HYMER Car! - Since you seem to have so much space in your HYMER, what about a portable dishwasher, e.g. BOB?

Your leftovers pasta looks great. We use out Cadac a lot. We make curries, fajitas, paella and loads more on it.

I agree a BBQ is a must when we go out in Madge. Then use the embers to makes S’mores yum yum 😋

I've had to look that up, Madge's Mystery Tour. I'd never heard of s'mores before now. Marshmallows and chocolate in a biscuit sandwich? Sounds nice but I can't imagine Zoë wanting to eat them. Would a gas BBQ do? Oh well. ☹

@@HermanHitstheRoad I was a guide leader for over 20 years and it was a staple round the campfire. I think you can cook them over any flame. We used to use tea lights in the winter months as the guides loved them.

Other than the usual takeaways we're always on the lookout for local food wherever we stop over. Most attractions, like gardens or houses and farms have outlets for locally made or grown produce. It's another excuse for visiting the area.

Another great video we normally keep it simple and have a few BBQs or go to the chippy. Btw love the T-Shirts 👍 our drinks are White wine, beer, and for me cider.

The chippy is a must and a proper English breakfast when we come over it’s the little things we need to have when you live in Germany and don’t get across to much. We also like going to the pub and having a meal.

Use your bikes that’s why you got them or public transport and less emissions when herman is sleeping, he’s a old man now so needs plenty of rest after a long journey. 😴😴😴👍

Bit late to your video🙈 great ideas though. Will definitely be trying the one pot. What pans are you using for the omelette? Can you add a link. Looked easy to flip😁 looking at my old camping pans they won't do that I'll have it all over the van.

Hi J, it's a double skillet. We bought it from a show years ago. I guess a ridge monkey is the next best thing.

Hi Ads we have the big halogen oven only used at Xmas as well, but we got a tiny slow cooker just enough for 2 it's great, we don't have a oven in our rapido either, but we do have also one of those small electric ovens too good for pizza and jackets, sausages ect but small slow cooker a must. Cheers.

Can't believe you haven't got a fry up in the list, toasties in the ridge monkey or antipasti/tapas (with wine of course) Failing that beer for brunch, wine for lunch and vodka for tea 👍

Sorry to disappoint, we don't tend to have fry ups, Mr B. We have a more healthy breaky and it's quick to make and wash up so we can get out and explore

It should do Ads, on mine just add some water and washing up liquid and I think on the temperature control there is a washing setting, turn on timer and off it goes. Check yours Ads ❤️ 🐧🐧
