@@jeromeandres9395 Kuminga has the potential to be at least the 2nd best player on a championship roster. It's foolish and very short sighted to mortgage the future in hopes of Curry winning another title. I prefer the team focus on both winning now while also being locked in on future success.

Get Deandre Ayton. Warriors need a 5 that can score. Rebounds well and is serviceable defensively. Trade Wiggins and Looney for him. if you need to give up a draft pick as well

If the dubs could pull a trade for Miles Turner rather than Markkanen... i think it would not take a lot of picks and Kumingga will not be in the package to get it done, (perhaps Wiggins, Moody & a lottery protected 1st pick is enough for the pacers). Markkanen is a risk for now for the dubs...not sure if he will stay with dubs after his contract...

Wait, BI who has actual playoff experience is not as good as a # 2 but Lauri who has NO playoff experience and put up great # on a trash team is? He wasnt even that great in CHI. Lauri on a good team will most likely fall to the 3rd option. People are too crazy thinking this guy is the answer. GS doesnt HAVE to get Lauri to be decent this year. If we aren't giving up Kuminga for PG13, you know damn well they will not for Lauri.

Total noob here when it comes to trade and cap technicalities, would it have been possible for the bulls to waive CP3 had the trade gone through? This opens up the bulls payroll and CP3 would still be able to go to the Spurs. Lavine, if motivated, could help the Warriors in the post Curry era.

I keep seeing people say don’t trade Kuminga but if that’s your second best player you aren’t winning or a serious contender unless he improves a lot over the summer… u you oh have to trade him and hope and pray that Wiggins gets back to a little bit of what he was to start the season after their 22 championship

Right now he is their second best player but keep in mind he is 21 years old. He avaraged over 20 when he got 30minutes. . He has a higher ceiling than any of those three players. If he continues on this trajectory he will be their best player in 2 years.

If kuminga will be removed then they will still not be a serious contender. Because they just change it not adding to it. For andrew wiggins, i doubt he will return to his old self. That's why instead of hoping for it without knowing if he will. Let kuminga fill that spot because he's the next big thing for the warriors.

The Warriors should not trade for Zach LaVine or Brandon Ingram, Nither player would significantly help, and would be major liabilities on defence, so they would probably hurt the warriors chances. Lauri Markkanen would help, but I don't think it's worth the cost (hard to say without knoing the terms, but my guess it that it's too high a cost). Mike Dunleavy has done a good job so far.

Lauri markennen/B. ingram gives you a better chance of winning playoff games than keeping kuminga in the roster. We've already seen kuminga yearly improvements which is exciting for gsw fans but still not reliable as a second scoring option as of yet until proven otherwise. The lack of consistent shooting and decision making is what makes his game so predictable. However, utah will demand for more players and pick to give up lauri which makes it harder for the gsw to pull the trigger.

I would be greatly disappointment if the Dubs do not acquire a quality starting player like Markkanen during free agency. But I acknowledge that landing a big name may prove difficult for Dunleavy considering that Warriors are also seeking to reduce the penalty tax caused by an expensive payroll that has, in the past, allowed the Warriors to be relevant even in non-championship years. Free agent candidates are likely considering how they might fit into the changing landscape of Golden State. Also a change in GM leadership during this time might lead to destabilization of an organization that is already experiencing a dramatic transformation in both its roster and coaching staff. As a Dubs fan, my thoughts are to remain hopeful, keep our fingers crossed, keep pr fingers crossed and to support the team however free agency and the season unfolds. Also, coach Kerr must be evaluated at the end of the season -as much as I hate to admit it.

Bi because it look unlikely right now that Lauri will get trade but we should get Lauri at the deadline if we do not get him in the offseason because Lauri can be signed August 6 and then 6 months later is February 6 if Lauri get signed the first day he can be traded in the 2024-25 season but if we go out and he get signed later he can not be traded until 2025-26 season.

I think Dunleavy was in a tough spot to begin with. I know it seems like they lost Klay for nothing, but it essentially was Hield and a 2nd round pick, which based on the fact he’s coming off one effective season in 4 years, is not bad. The other moves have added to solid bench depth. It would be great if they could land a good second option, but we can say it all we want that doesn’t make it easy. I’d say he’s done a decent job considering the circumstances. Think about when we lost prime KD what did we get back? D Lo….who I think Hield is similar quality to

NO. This problem is with ownership and the salary cap. Now with the new CBA ownership doesn't want to be in the repeater tax. Ownership approved Jordan Poole and Andrew Wiggins contract. They resigned Day Day and Curry to extensions. The only asset other teams want are JK and BPuz

If we think markkanen is the real deal and can change the landscape of this team even beyond Steph’s last years then you do it. I like JK. He’s athletic. Can rebound. Plays defense. I like to see him catch and shoot coming off screens. Don’t know if he’s working in that over the summer. If he adds that then he can be a solid 3. Then Wiggins is expendable. These are my opinion.

JK is just as good or better per min, on a team with less minutes as a third option and is better defensively unless Lauri's offensive role is diminished - in which case LM can do better on defense. Todays NBA is about wing defense and play. Lauri is over rated. Doesnt play a lot of games, and he put up great # on a bad team. His numbers were paltry when in CHI playing behind Zack. And the point is to get Lauri with our wings intact. Losing JK to get Lauri is a wash. Lauri with JK on the team = playoffs / potential finals. So no we dont want to give up JK for Lauri.

@@RosaBusMusic Right. He isnt the best player Steph is. Lauri is the best player on a trash team with no one else to compete with for utilization. He gets all the touches he wants. JK is averaging 16 points on 26 mins as the 3rd option. Lauri gets 23 points in 33 min as the main option. Ironically JK has more playoff experience than Lauri. lol. He has none. Lauri has great numbers only for the last two years and made all star one time when he first got to the Jazz. He's overvalued right now. People are treating him like he is an all nba player with multiple all star selections. PG13 is way better with more experience and we didn't offer Kuminga.. What makes you think GS thinks Lauri is worth that?

TERRIBLE take/question. Should he be fired?? Even if you believe he should (which is crazy this early), the deal has to improve the team. Somehow he should keep his job, or give him a raise if he makes a deal? Can't just make a deal for the sake of making a deal. Has to be the right one.

You all think so highly of JK, then he should be the number 2 scorer next to Curry. Average in the low twenties per game scoring. We have 14 rostered players already and 1 two-way player. Save that 15th slot for a player at the trading deadline. They can use their MLE for that.

At the start of last year, on this same channel I said I wouldn’t trade Kuminga for Siakam, kawhi or PG and that’s a one for one scenario. Then JK did what he did last year. Utah obv has leverage. We need to look at BI and or Miles Bridges s n t. I’m sure Charlotte would take Wiggins and a pick or Moody for Bridges. Dray and Bridges good friends bc of Mich State. BI value is low and kings just got demar. So we need to make a move but not w jk. Also, sign Pat Bev. We need that hard nosed grit and energy. We lost a ton of games last year, bc Kerr screwed shit up. Love the pieces for far after klay left. Slo Mo did surprise me, he annoys me but does play his role and is a dubz fan from youth. Pretty cool. Deep down I feel like Dray and Steph will be going nuclear to rub a 5th ring in Klays face for turning his back on the wolf pack. I’m not sure BI deserves 2 1sts, Miles probably a 1st. Also lauri is in his contract year, do we really want to pay him all that money? He’s good but not at the cost, no way. Things can always change at the trade deadline too and address some things based on new evidence and see where we’re at.
