90s was a golden era for anime and video games

Berserk (the 1997 anime, but even more so the manga) is one of my personal favorite and valuable reading/viewing experiences I've ever had, and that's saying a lot given I put it ahead of even my favorite classical novel, The Count of Monte Cristo. As much as I also dearly love the works of Tolkien, Robert E. Howard, and many others, Kentaro Miura's work on Berserk is in many aspects just as dear to me as the others I have only just touted on equal footing. You can take that as blasphemy or for whatever else you will, but my personal connection to Berserk and its themes as well as what it means to me and what a comfort it has been in my life ever since I first discovered it are also factors to be considered when evaluating whether or not my words hold any weight. I won't go into all of the details, but I think it's fair to say that anyone who has struggled in any aspect of life that has affected them deeply for good, ill, or both knows why I hold Berserk on so high a pedestal. ...Also, the 1997 anime has the funniest bloopers I've ever seen XD

Ninja Scroll is one of my favourites of the 90s. The Sci Fi UK channel aired Wicked City, Fist of the North Star, Demon City Shinjuku and others after midnight on Sunday in the Summer of 1996.

Sort of a poorly researched video. The synopsis given for Berserk spoils the animes conclusion and the mentions the plot beyond the eclipse that isnt in the anime. Mentions Yoko Kanno as doing the soundtrack for Ghost in the Shell 1995 which is completely wrong. It was Kenji Kawai. Kanno did the music for the 2000s series. For Sailor Moon, the clips shown are not from the 90s show. For Hunter x Hunter, he says that the show is renowned for the Chimera Ant arc. It is...in the 2011 version. That arc isnt in the 90s version. It ended before it got that far in the story. They also mix footage of the 90s and 2011 versions. Cybersix isnt an anime... Calls One Piece a 90s anime. It began airing in Oct' 99. Only the first 8 episodes aired in the 90s. The first 31 eps of DBZ aired in 1989 so if One Piece is 90s then DBZ is 80s. All read by a guy whos probably never warched any of these.

Yeah, Rowni Kenshin is such a classic anime, but seriously dude, I have a hard time believing you watched half of these anime, and you didn’t just google them or used Wikipedia. I don’t know, but the way you pronounce stuff like Saiyan, Gundam, Rurouni etc… just gives me that impression.

Perfect Blue is a masterpiece

90s anime are the golden age of anime when there not so restricted (not all free tho don’t get me wrong) and for shonen standers can be dark, funny and peak writing Iv will never see an anime again produced like yu yu hakusho, dbz, one piece, evangellion, cowboy bebop and berserk

The 1993 ova of Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure is also worth checking out. It only focuses on the Stardust Crusaders Egypt Arc and not all the fights are in it. But it’s definitely worth a watch. Some moments even outshine the later anime adaptation. The final battle between Dio and Jotaro is particularly well done!

It's a shame that the Berserk anime didn't continue, I think it was very well done. I also think there were more animes missing from the video like Zoids, Escaflowne and Magic Knight Rayearth, along with X is the only thing I really like about Clamp. Another anime that I also think is quite good is Mobile Fighter G Gundam, but in general people only remember or know Wing.

“Picture it Sicily 1992” We have our top 3 Anime for the next 4/5 years, Dragon Ball has now evolved into Dragon Ball Z on CN(Cartoon Network)/Toonami, a superhero show marketed for girls “Sailor Moon” 🌙 ✨, a teenage boy who rescued a little boy from getting hit by a 🚗 then gets hit by that same car and is turned into the best demon/ghost hunter “YuYu Hakasho 💚”. And I’m just a 1997 baby that grew up knowing this from older cousins and watched Beserk😂

There were done painfully bad mispronunciations throughout this video that makes me think the narrator never watched the shows and is simply reading a script. Also, they used clips of Dragon Ball Super while talking about DBZ. I saw Goku with blue hair. In DBZ he only has black hair in his base form and gold/blonde hair while Super Saiyan.
