Congrats that means you probably actually read my descriptions, and for that I thank you massively, because I always write them at about 4am after I’ve finished making my videos, and I’m completely delirious, so if you’re reading them that’s a definite sign that I should keep doing these long KZfaq video nights.
500bhp is a huge amount - some supercars today don’t even have that level of power. But today you can get that for less than £10k if you’re lucky (and willing to deal with a potential money pit).
In this video I provide the stats, specs, costs of ownership, and other relevant information to these cars - let me know in the comments if I’ve made any mistakes or if there are obvious omissions from the list that I should have known!
I know already that I have brought the “ThEy’Re ChEaP bEcAuSe ThEy’Re HiGh MiLeAgE aNd CoSt LoAdS tO mAiNtAiN” comments upon myself. Inb4 an influx of those, as well as comments like “just buy a 1999 Saab/Lexus/Volvo and put a turbo on it and you have 500bhp for less than £5k” because that’s seemingly the most common set of responses. One day I’ll just do a video on Volvos, Saabs and Lexuses to make those people happy.
