Women are extremely sensitive to smell and are drawn to a man who smells amazing. Although picking the right scent for you is very much a personal journey we men need to make sure we know which scents a woman will be attracted to! There are endless options out there so I have curated my top fragrances to help you make a decision, but remember these are my opinions - you may like something that I haven’t covered!
1. La Nuit De L'Homme - Yves Saint Laurent (EDT) - Has a sweet and subtle scent with cardamom spice as the signature note with the undertones slightly nutty, aromatic and sweet. Great for day or night wear.
2. BOSS - Hugo Boss - initial impressions are fresh and fruity with a masculine base of sandalwood, cedar wood notes. Perfect for every day wear throughout the year.
3. Silver Essence - Roberto Cavalli - appeals to the older gentleman with the strong scents of cardamom and notes of ginger, oak moss and lavender. Great for wearing year-round.
3. Santal Carmin - Atelier - opens with a sweetness and hint of saffron spice combined with notes of vanilla, sandalwood and white musk. Really nice for fall and winter during the day and night.
5. Legend Night - Mont Blanc - probably my favourite of the bunch! has a spicy cardamom and sage impression with strong notes of cedar, lavender, vanilla and musk. Like the name suggests it is great for the evening and particular nice during fall and winter!
BONUS - Honourable Mention: Paco Rabanne - 1 Million Eau de Toilette and the 1 Million Prive - Both have an extremely strong sillage which is popular among men but can sometimes be overpowering for a woman. Their both somewhat similar with spicy cinnamon, tobacco and cardamom notes. Definitely for the bolder man. Best worn outdoors at night.
