I'm debating the chrome delete and the spoiler on the civic. Rn I have a gray civic but i'm not sure how it'll look, though I'll go through the window chrome delete before I try the plastidip on the emblems.

Highly recommend a spoiler because it makes a big difference for a small price. I can’t imagine not having a spoiler anymore

Gimmie more hatchback content! How often do you wash the car?, seems like down here in miami, once a week is a must. I only installed the official add-ons on my touring. i spent $400 on the spoiler wing, $174 for labor and one hour.

I’ll try to bust out some content soon! Garage has been occupied with other projects so haven’t been able to get either cars in since they’re lower priority 🥲 I don’t have a frequency and it’s more on an as-needed basis 😂 but I would say it needs a wash every quarter up in Washington IF I take her outback. Otherwise, I could probably get away with two washes a year. Having it ceramic coated plays a big part because things slide off real easy.

When you blacked out the front emblem, did you have to remove the emblem or did you spray onto the badge while still attached?

We removed it but it's really pinned in so be very gentle. We actually broke ours and had to glue it back together T_T

What tint percentage did you do for the headlights and taillights? The car looks fantastic and I am looking to pick one up in lunar silver. It will definitely need the tinted lights mod!

dont thats a lot of work and money + roll cages arent suited for daily driving its acc more dangerous if u dd it

Yeah I would not recommend it as a daily driver. I think caged seats belong on the track and should stay there 😅

Any problem with water leak from the spoiler? I saw they have to drill holes.

I has it professionally done at the dealership so no issues! Also the holes you drill should go to mounting points already in the car and shouldn’t be any deeper where it would go through the car and cause a leak!

How did the spoiler effect your rear view visibility?

It will definitely appear in the rearview mirror but it hasn’t affected my vision by any means. I can definitely see everything behind me still!

what are the pros and cons so far? choosing between this or mazda 3

I think generally speaking, the Mazda 3 may have better handling and acceleration. It did feel stronger when I rode one, but overall, I think they are pretty equal because the Civic has the better comfort, cargo, and fuel economy imo. On the flip side, the Mazda 3 starts at a lower base price because the interior isn't as snazzy. Best advice is to go drive one and see which you like better, because you can't go wrong with either :)

Online from a random Honda dealership. I wanna say it was Arizona but I just googled and picked the cheapest OEM option 😂

College Hill Honda ( they sell add on parts) sells a blacked out "Touring" badge so the back of your car doesn't have to be 1/2 chrome + 1/2 blacked. lol

I personally used them more for aesthetics than protection and any change from stock could be considered a “modification”, but if we take it out of the equation, I’d throw in wind protectors/rain guards which I haven’t put on yet 😬 If you are thinking more on the lines of performance mods then there will a video of that soon!

Sadly not true for the local shops here. They really be charging an arm and a leg if you want to choose the tint % and film type/quality.

That HPD wing looks soooooooo much better in person, when i saw it on the website I thought it wouldn't look that great, but it really does. Also don't know if you've made any updates, but window louvers, side skirts, rear diffuser and wheel spacers are all stuff I think really elevate the look of the hatch. The wheel spacers did a lot in terms of the cars stance so they are my favorite.
