What tint percentage did you do for the headlights and taillights? The car looks fantastic and I am looking to pick one up in lunar silver. It will definitely need the tinted lights mod!

There's a lot of speed bumps and hills where I'm from so they've taken a good beating but it's still firmly on there. Although, it is starting to bubble which is kind of weird cause WHAT IS BUBBLING???

Springs were the first mods I purchased actually. Then we realized how tedious it was to install and never got to it...Maybe one day haha.

I bought the same car same trim same color but manual. I live in Montreal and I have the heated steering wheel. It’s not the best tho. It’s hot in some spots not the whole steering wheel. But otherwise I love this car. I traded in my 2020 Cadillac XT4 for it. Best decision ever!!

When you blacked out the front emblem, did you have to remove the emblem or did you spray onto the badge while still attached?

We removed it but it's really pinned in so be very gentle. We actually broke ours and had to glue it back together T_T

That HPD wing looks soooooooo much better in person, when i saw it on the website I thought it wouldn't look that great, but it really does. Also don't know if you've made any updates, but window louvers, side skirts, rear diffuser and wheel spacers are all stuff I think really elevate the look of the hatch. The wheel spacers did a lot in terms of the cars stance so they are my favorite.

Crush washer, lol not nut. Ive actually fallen asleep under my car before, its peaceful on a nice summer day. Also, the oem honda filter A02 is just a fram filter. Theyre made by fram, and honestly are junk filters. Theyre not like the old A01 filters. I recommend using wix but ONLY if the filter says made in USA. Baldwin filters are nice too, basically anything but fram or factory filter.

@@j_cao yeah the oem blue filter ending in A02 is made by fram. There's a few videos showing what the inside of the oem filter looks like. No way would I want that on my civic. I change my oil every 3500 anyway, but for those who go 5,000-8,000 miles I would for sure stay away from them.

It's definitely not mugen quality but it's gotten a lot of compliments! I have noticed some bubbling or peeling, which is so odd cause it's just ABS so maybe it's whatever they put on it to get the carbon look...But it's taken quite a beating and still attached pretty firmly!

I got lucky, they thought it was just the sedan version spoiler and only charged me sedan pricing hehe...Still a good 200 bucks though.

No screws! Just 3M automotive tape and we replaced the stock clips with other clips we had laying around.

@@zgailey2532 so I had someone press my break pedal and it does look the same at night, I think the camera facing straight on it during the day shows the light better than how we would see it. I am pretty sure its the stock light in this video for the 3rd light though, because like I say at night its identical.

What is the purpose of the strut bar? And with that new intake, is it turbo related? Will you get more horse power out of that part? Mine is a 24, and it came with an HPD package, you should look into it, you might find that entire package cosmetically better for your civic, check it out, and just as i’m seeing your spoiler is a part of the hod package, scratch that lol

Strut bars help control the cars especially during sharp turns. Nothing to do with the engine, just driving feel as it also tightens your steering wheel a little. If you want more horses I would look into a stage 2 cold air intake and maybe a full exhaust system (if not turbo-ing). Those might give you an extra few! The HPD package is really nice just didn't want to spend the extra $$$$ at the time since I wasn't planning on keeping the car long, but looks like my plans have changed LOL!

what are the pros and cons so far? choosing between this or mazda 3

I think generally speaking, the Mazda 3 may have better handling and acceleration. It did feel stronger when I rode one, but overall, I think they are pretty equal because the Civic has the better comfort, cargo, and fuel economy imo. On the flip side, the Mazda 3 starts at a lower base price because the interior isn't as snazzy. Best advice is to go drive one and see which you like better, because you can't go wrong with either :)

Just tripped over this video, I will for sure do this as aftermarket light usually fail so replacing the stock led's will be great. I have the Sonic Gray Pearl Hatch in NJ. Love the video, thanks. Sadly not true for the local shops here. They really be charging an arm and a leg if you want to choose the tint % and film type/quality.

The sensors are located inside top of the windsheild above the rear view mirror. If the windshield is foggy it will give you an error. Just. Turn on your wipers

I have the exact same car as you. I saw it and fell in love. Best looking civic in my opinion. I originally was like you and always turned off the auto start/stop function in fears of engine wear from repeated starts. However a video from Engineering Explained said that the start/stop function does not harm the engine in any way, and actually saves a decent amount of fuel if youre idleing for extended periods.
