I would love to see a video on coordinating our makeup colors to our everyday outfits. You always seem to be so creative in choosing just the right color eyeshadows and lipsticks to what you are wearing. Thanks so much for keeping us uplifted and educating us on your makeup techniques!

Good selection of palettes. FYI, I just turned 70, and have wrinkly eyelids. Do I wear shimmers? Oh, yes...yes I do!! :)

I'm so glad you mentioned the Persona pallet. I have extremely sensitive eyes and not only is the quality amazing but it doesn't make my eyes burn. Absolutely love it!

I'm so grateful to have recently found you. I'll be 40 in October and recently just finding the way I've been doing my makeup just doesn't work for my skin anymore. Age isn't fun, man. And while I still love some of my (younger) 'old' you tubers, I've already found so much comfort and knowledge from you! And figuring out why my old ways don't work.

Milani has a palette called “Gilded Nude” that has made me reach less for my Biba palette. I’m obsessed with it. It has my favorite transition shades ever, blendable, flattering and long lasting. I’ve never before, been so in love with a palette. As a disclaimer, I opt for matte palettes and like to choose my shimmer toppers in singles (usually from Stila, ABH, urban decay). The Gilded Nude palette has one light glittery shade which is gorgeous, but as a palette I love it.

The CP Bare Necessities palette is absolutely exceptional. It's a larger palette but WOW. So many shadows and the formula and pigmentation is outstanding! Also love the UD Naked 3 - these two are my go tos!

I LOVE that you did pallettes for different budgets!! That's super helpful. I love this video I've looked at some of these pallettes before and wasn't sure. This definitely helped me make a decision:))

Risa I'm SO glad you addressed the shimmer formula in the CP Going Coconuts pallette!! Thank you! I thought I was crazy and the ONLY one that had difficulty with it! EVERYONE raves about that pallette and never says a word about the difference in formula in the shimmer shades. I had a particularly difficult time with Palm Reader. I DO love the color story, and I definitely use this pallette, but I wish the shimmer formula was a little more consistent with this one. I've never had an issue like that before with any other CP pallette I've purchased.

I just got the Urban Decay Naked Reloaded palette and need some help with some looks. I may have to go on the KZfaq hunt. My favorite neutral is the Colourpop Going Coconuts!!! I bought 3 more! The only drawback is there are two shimmers that go faster than any other colors so I get stuck because they aren't in any other palette I own. Thank you for doing this Risa! I may have to try the Persona palette. I may have some wrinkles but I'm definitely wearing Going Coconuts!!!! ❤️

You have some great recommendations but I would put the ND Glam palette rather than the Biba. I prefer cool tones & it is also cheaper.

Agree with you about the quality of Persona. I have the pink Color Theory palette. I know those aren't colors everyone loves, but I do love this one! I appreciate you sharing your shipping/delivery experiences with different companies. I love my Biba palette. I very much appreciate the great quality and the variety it provides for the aesthetic I prefer. Although it’s expensive, I reach for it over and over again. Worth the money for me!!

Hey Risa! Always love to see a new video from you! I have cool toned skin and brown/green eyes. Anything the least bit brown on my eyes makes me look tired. The only Browntone I can seem to get away with is a skin colored shimmer. Could you do a video on neutral eyeshadows for cool toned skin but also steering away from brown colors? Purples and greys look best on me but sometimes I like a more subtle everyday look and struggle with neutral colors.

This is the first time that I don't have most of the palettes you recommend. My favorite neutral palette has to be the Identity Palette. You are right to say Sona hit it out of the park. I love that her launches are just a few products always, so you can add on to her collection in a reasonable way. Her whole line is fantastic. I have the UD Reloaded and for some reason I don't reach for it. The one I do reach for is the Too Face Chocolate Bar palette. I got it on sale at Ulta and I love it!! If it goes on sale again for Ulta's 21 days of beauty I am picking it up. My other favorite palette is the Maybelline Rooftop Bronzes. Absolutely love it. I re-purchased it many times. Also, Sona is/was a YT'er.

I love the persona palette. I took the shimmer shades out of the going coconut palette and put ones I liked better because I can’t stand glitter particles. That’s probably why I haven’t bought the glam palette.

Have you tried the Kaja Bento eyeshadows? They are a holy grail for me, esp Chocolate Dahlia. They come in mattes and simmers or just shimmers

They are so fantastic I just got the 2 of them and I think of you when I wear them :-) I think you would love those beautiful neutrals with glam sparkly shimmers. Better than my ND Bronze and Glam in my opinion... They changed the formula and it is top notch.

I just got the Tarte Juicy palette. Can’t wait to dip into it. BTW, is that a Dove Gray shade in the Biba palette? Dove gray was all the 90’s rage and I loved it, but I can’t find it anywhere now. Wish it would come back.

But I’m definitely going to watch as I’m curious as what your favorites are. :) I’m only the first minute in and I love your look in the video. My everyday palettes would be the following: -Natasha Denona Metropolis (and it’s dupe sister Artemis from Alter Ego...so I can keep Metropolis a little while longer) -Urban Decay On The Run -BH cosmetics Naughty -Elf Retro Paradise -Natasha Denona 28 pan green brown palette (this is by far my priciest palette and definitely my most neutral but omg the gorgeous blues and greens in this one are stunning!)

I own ud reloaded and going coconuts and I totally agree that they are excellent for every day looks. I also really like that’s taupe which is a cooler sister of going coconuts. I’ve had my eye on persona for awhile now and will jump on opportunity to get it next time it will be on sale😉👌

I’m so bored of warm tones it’s so hard to find cool tones. Colour pop stone cold fox pallets and that’s so taupe are the best for the price

I just wanna build off what you said about ordering from the colourpop website...they took FOREVER over a week to ship my order, ended up sending me the completely wrong palette, and I have yet to received the correct one and I ordered it early April. I hate their customer service communication. I wish I could call and talk to someone immediately and not wait 24-48 hours.
