Please help me! After hearing your Bobbi Brown tip in one of your recent videos I did an experiment. Gathered every lipstick and gloss I own, applied each to my bare face, took a selfie and learned a lot. Nude and brown tones do nothing for me and gloss is meh. I need color but don't want to wear red every day. I'm down to two shades I like out of nearly 20 in my collection. Would you suggest some lipsticks for a 63 year old brunette with brown eyes and fair skin. For reference my foundation shades are TirTir sand and Dior Forever 2N. Appreciate any suggestions you have!

I use a primer for the glow that I want underneath. Only a dot on nose. I need to keep trying I am 63 dry. And I use them only because I get sent them in boxy charm 😊

I love these type of videos. As far as primer I do hyaluronic acid & Vitamin C & Tatcha water cream then my foundation. Is this a good technique before foundation? Love your channel.

The eye trick your doing with the shadow is what Laura Mercier did with her tight line technique. Use her flat brush with black ebony by wetting the brush and adding the color in between the lashes.

Yep! Laura went for the under the lashes tight line and Trish went for the top(originally, now she does both).

I wouldn't use "regular" concealer doing the Triangle of LIght. Trish McEvoy developed that technique with her "Instant Eye Lift".

Yes, but since most people probably don’t want to go buy another new product, I recommended just using a lighter-weight concealer with not so full coverage, which they probably already have. ❤️

Yeah the lip liner trick was a gamechanger for me back in the day because lipliners used to more stiff than they are now and harder to apply to the skin. I've been doing that for 20 years now and I am 53 now ❤

Hi Risa. When I have that issue with the glasses nose pad, I get the pads replaced and have it adjusted. If your glasses do not have pads, consider having the nose pad metal arms installed to your glasses. I get everything done at Lense Crafters ❤

My first makeup job was with Laura Mercier in 2007. I learned everything I know today from Laura and her top Artists who would visit. I was chosen to do a master class with Laura but the day of the class it was my daughter's wedding! I was so sad!

Thanks Risa! Bare Minerals and Smash Box both had primers around the same time . End of 90's - Only pitfall I find with the apples of the cheeks are that as gravity takes it's toll, the apples of the cheeks drop some ... and lose volume ... so we can smile and the apple looks plump and juicy, but when we relax the face the apples are more like dehydrated apple slices! Kind of flattened! Lol....

As far as primers go, I think it depends on your skin. If you've got perfect skin, then no, they aren't necessary. But if you've got specific issues, primers can help address them.

Very informative video. I always use to apply blush the way Bobbi Brown suggested. I got away from that after watching other beauty influencers applying it higher up. Now I am back to doing it on the apples of my cheeks and blending it upwards. I am loving the way it makes me look.
