By how much is performance reduced by use of eco mode? Does it still accelerate enough and maintain a decent cruising speed?

Eco mode extends the range by reducing performance. However it is still able to out accelerate most other cars in this mode. I don’t think you should ever be driving an electric car in eco mode unless your worried about running out of range because reducing performance and comfort is not a compromise you should make.
