excellent fun and fuel efficient daily that is reliable and cheap to maintain. if you have bad roads and/or bad weather you have to watch out for blown tires or wrecking in wintery conditions. I drive mine daily for work and have blown out tires 4 diff times in the past 3 years but they were all results of hitting potholes at high speeds. I have wrecked in snow once (recently) as well. if you're in a warm weather climate it's a no brainer. if you live in a cold weather area you may want a 4wd beater available.

I would say some HPDE or other type of real driving seat time would be ahead of these things.. Something where you can test the limits of the car safely so you know what it feels like on, and past, the edge.. Autocross could be it.. I wouldn't add any power though until you're comfortable with the stock levels and chassis (knowing how to handle the car on the edge).. If you're just trying to go fast in a straight line, you picked the wrong the car, lol.. this is a canyon carver.. an autocross assassin.. it's natural disposition is to have 1 wheel in the air mid corner, not on the freeway waiting for some beeps, lool..
