Hey what’s going on guys, this is AndrewChicken and welcome back to another video! Next up in our top 5 champions series is the flank class, which has a lot of spicy and powerful champions who many people enjoy playing.
Flank champions are similar to damage champions in that their job is to earn kills for their team. However, while damage champions are often slow with powerful damage at all ranges, flanks are usually more suited to close quarters combat and have far more mobility than their damage counterparts. They offer a more active and exciting gameplay experience compared to most damage champions - but often require more skill or involve more risk.
In this video, I’ll be giving my opinions on who I think are the top 5 best flank champions in Paladins. These champions are the most capable of getting kills reliably and living to tell the tale, and are both extremely strong in the hands of someone with lots of experience but also not super hard to get into!

About buck, yes, bounce house does get counter hard but there's the net talent for that. All you have to do is get pretty close or before you are close. Male sure to hit the next first so when you land but get countered by torvold. You can still do damage and etc then kill em

You can be effective with pretty much any flank in the game if you put in the work to master it. Some are better by default, but still. Flank is by far my favorite class lol

Loved it man 🤩 Hopefully they nerf Skye a bit, she's clearly the best flank, with her amazing mobility and overpowered talents and small cooldowns. With that said, I think you missed out on pistol strix, he is my favorite champion in the game and super broken as well!! Too bad not enough people know about this pistol tech 😔

Vora have the lowest DPS on the flank and DMG class (it's lower than buck who have 700 dps), but with a lot of utility

13:50 I thought stomping ground buck was changed from killing blow to elimination or am I tripping? Buck no longer need to worry about stolen kills.

Top 2 is too obvious 1) VII 2) Androxus 3) Evie 4) Buck These 2 having elimination card make them much better Following can go either way 5) Vatu Honorable mention 6) Vora 7) Zhin 8) Maeve Edit: not a good prediction on my part. I really thought evie and buck would make it to top 5 because of elim card reset

Definitely not Maeve. She's too outdated. Vora and Vatu have unfortunately overshadowed her as a flank. I want some Maeve buffs tbh.

@@williamhopkins1262 vatu is just better maeve while vora is slightly better than maeve. Reason I put maeve is because her weapon has no fall off, poke with cat burglar and STREET JUSTICE Yeah, she really get powercrept. Others is just better than maeve

@@diputsnoob3815 absolutely not. Maeve is very good. Vatu has things that make him very weak. If you play Maeve correctly, you can make tanks seem like a no show. Just my opinion. But I'm insane at maeve.

Evie is very fun but gets easly countered by other flanks and damage. She goes off if your team can create enough distraction that you can clean up the kills with.

I'm not sure if zhins counter can't deflect Skye's time bomb, cause I was playing paladins 4 hours before this video was uploaded tryna level up Zhin, and I was able to deflect Skye's time bomb.

zhin can counter almost everything in the game, even Drogoz ult doesnt do anything when counter is up, the only champ I can think he cant counter is Jenos ult and maybe Io but im not sure.

Started playing Paladins again after a while. (Stopped playing before Lillith or Betty was released) I can play everything.....played Caspian for the 1st time and he just seems absolutely horrible. I know it ain't just me right?

*I have to disagree with your analysis on Buck. You said Buck's best talent is Bounce House, I disagree, I'd say his best and most reliable talent is Ensnare. Ensnare is by far his most damaging talent and most reliable like I said. Unless your playing against bad players or playing a game of KOTH or TDM, Bounce house is gonna get hard countered literally anywhere else. It's predictable and very easy to counter. Ensnare gives Buck 2 shot potential, and make him EVER MORE difficult to handle in close range. Not to mention the poke dmg it gives him, especially when he can't engage someone up close. And running Ensnare with that Life Steal card on his net shot, gives him even more self sustain to go along with his recovery ability. Honestly, I like your top 5 list here, but Buck should be number 2 or 3 on this list. He's almost always an insta ban on ranked and is just a phenomenal flank.* Side not: In almost all my 1v1 against Vora while playing Zhin... Zhin wins pretty much every time. Zhin's kit pretty much counters Vora's in every way. So, in my opinion, Zhin is a better flank than Vora. Zhin is just hard to kill and even hard to outplay, and his poke dmg is insane aswell. I wouldn't say his poke is better than Vora's, however just all around Zhin is a better flank than Vora.

What kind of morons are you playing with that would even consider banning BUCK of all champions? Vora, Vatu, Andro, and VII are all UNDISPUTABLY better than Buck. Honestly most flanks are better than Buck, but those 4 you can't even argue about them being worse then buck in any way.

As a side comment to your side note, Vora is better than zhin not because of the duel matchup between the two. Vora does way more into most other champions than zhin, it just so happens that Zhin's kit counters Vora's in a duel

I don’t see how people argue that vii shouldn’t be number 1 he can run from anybody or to them in a mater of seconds and burst you down insanity fast he has counters but even then if your not the one playing them he’s annoying to go up against every time

I really feel like Skye belongs here. Yeah, she is easy to counter and blah blah blah, but if you use here in a smart way, rather than HAHAHAH I GO INVIS NOW HAHAHAH CAN'T SEE ME OOLOOLOO, then she is truly a menace, and that ult... Music to my ears.

3:07 well zhin can do that, the only thing he cant counter is the dashing ability like his whirl, Raum's rampage, or Tiber ult dash i dont know but in a haven + veteran meta like this, I think Zhin ult should be buff, like 2k2 or even 2k6, nowaday, even without item, normally u cant 1 shot everyone, and even with the talent go with %hp base, 1 veteran is enough to prevent the OH-KO also, personally, i would say the most annoying champion to face against is Evie, with that mobility, and now no longer having to go cauterize, Evie can have even more blink and if talking about ranking, i would say I will replace Vora with Evie, because I have never face a big troublem from Vora, but Evie? even without wormhole, she takes too much effort to kill

In my opinion, Ivy and Vatu do not deserve such places. In my opinion Androxus should be in 1st place, Vora should be in 2nd place, maybe in third place. Evie has quite a lot of minuses, but I'm not saying she's a bad flang. But it is inferior to, for example, Vora, Androxus

Vora is 4th but evie is honorable mentions ? Dude evie is busted, she should do less damage and her glide, tp slower. All evie players are pain in the ass waiting for their burst combo to be available and then deleting the enemy squishies in half a second meanwhile vora needs to hit people to get true value for her abilities

Seven when he came out he was bad, now he's good, sure he has a lot of dmg and mobility but not a lot of hp so I think that he's balanced, except that the -10 dmg should have gone for the burst mod.

@@xaninuax im a zhin main and the only scenario I’m beaten by a VII is when I’m already low I can give u my zhin loadout if u want it’s mostly based around mobility and being hard to kill

@@Koiltzy Every champion beats VII in a 1v1 if the users are even in skill or the other is better....The point is that VII is a stronger champion...1v1s dont matter when they can pop in, drop 1200 damage and get out before the enemy team knows they existed. (soundbug with the assist of course)
