Old slides from a snowmobile make good runners, I use a bungee cord cargo net (tractor supply) to hold my stuff in, and the eye bolt in stern is a genius idea!

Order a second and put it on hinges. Then add some generic weather stripping and put in some eyelets and a cargo net.

I also placed a 1x8 pine across the front. cut a cup holder in it. yeti fits perfect, also holds the transducer firmly while I check depth etc.

It would work awesome for beach outings, as well.

You gotta try the 5hp on the sled come spring.

I made a frame out of 1 inch pvc pipe. It allows me carry my rods, tackle and electronics in the sled and my tent, auger and lawn chair up top. Still fits in the back of my station wagon.

A weight pullers harness vest ! And 4 HD snap rings with 2 ea 4 foot lifting straps attached to vest. Installed 2 large Eye bolts with fender washers in front and 6 smaller eye bolts with washers for tie downs and nylock nuts for all.
