Red dead Players feel dead inside. I played the game today and you know what I did, nothing. There’s nothing to do. I rode from blackwater west until I got past the McFarlane Ranch and just didn’t do anything. I saw one player, we waved at each other and that was the most interesting part. I love the game, but there’s simply nothing fun to do.

Yup, as an active GTA Online Player I feel very very sorry/guilty to see Red Dead Online players have to deal with this. The game's definitely have the potential to be really good but this is really disappointing to see through. I don't see a need for excuse that a huge AAA company like Rockstar couldn't bring out good quality updates for both GTA Online and Red Dead Online quite consistently at the same year. I'm not trying to defend Rockstar but while maybe from the looks of Frontier Pursuits & Moonshiners update, I think from Rockstar's perspective, those updates made Red Dead Online have plenty enough of content to keep the game last longer so maybe like OnlyPVPCat or fewer people said Blood Money was made to focus on new players making easier gold and money and if Rockstar would have done proper communication/announcement/feedback like Ubisoft does or the others, I think the update would have felt acceptable a bit more than it is now. Anyway, I hope this could be the case and a possible reason that Red Dead Online will get a much bigger update like GTA Online has so that we both GTAO & RDO players can enjoy having really good content altogether even though Expanded & Enhanced is coming later on, I would really like to see this happen for real and give what the community asked for, showing that Rockstar really cares about RDO & its community.

The ability to sell spare horses and wagons to a stable should have been in the online game from day one. We have the ability to catch and tame wild horses, but we can't keep or sell them. How hard would it have been for RockStar to add that ability, even if it's just once a game day? It's the sheer laziness of it that frustrates me. Right now wild horses are a nuisance that get in the way when we're trying to hunt. The only reason to interact with one is so you can carry one more carcass back to camp and don't want to summon your hunting wagon. We frequently have opportunities to acquire a wagon temporarily, but we can't keep or sell it. As 19th Century entrepreneurs we are constantly looking for opportunities to turn a quick buck, but this simple opportunity is denied us. This could be expanded into full roles/businesses later, with your own ranch (or buying out the stables already on the map) where you breed and sell horses, and a coach works where you employ people to make and sell wagons, and you could bring any acquired wagon to be disguised and resold. After enough sales your reputation grows and you will get customer orders which you can deliver for an extra fee. So many simple opportunities, yet from Rockstar it's just Cap-it-f@ckin-tay-lee, an opportunity to do multiple tedious missions just like missions we could already do, just to unlock ugly hats we still have to pay for.

As an achievement Hunter, grinding to level 100 in Red Dead Online had to be one of the most brutal experiences I’ve ever had, balancing having to restart my game after getting stuck in a loading screen half the time, to doing daily objectives for little to no gold bars even with the modifiers which made it so hard to buy the businesses which helped you make more XP to level up your character. Mission grinding and side missions got old and repetitive quickly and the moment I got level 100 and finished off the last of the online achievements I haven’t played red dead online since then and I don’t believe I will again.

The time travel glitch seems to happen when you do a blood money crime. (Which I think puts you into your own session) then when you come back your time has to adjust to the servers time. This can (sometimes) happen with legendary bounty/animal missions.

Agree with everything except your daily challenge streak grievance. It was way too OP but more importantly streak based incentives to play a non-educational video game should be banned outright. Nobody should have to play a video game everyday for fear of losing progress.This is not a healthy habit for any individual. You should be able to take a break for a week, spend time with family and friends, come back and not lose progress.

The time glitch is when you merge into or your game is trying to merge you into another lobby

I'm sure a lot of people must have already mentioned this, but the backwards time glitch / it was day now it is night glitch has been in the game ever since the bounty hunter update last december. However this used to happend only if you completed a legendary animal mission and a few mins after you changed sessions.

@TheProfessional Great video man (as always)... to me 100% the daily challenge streak nerf was the final nail in the RedDead 2 coffin.... they killed their own game with stupid decisions. Sure maybe they needed to scale back the gold rewards, but they stripped it completely off the table and left no incentives to continue. I'm still bitter about them taking my hard earned streak away!

The timelapse glitch is intentional because the game sometimes automatically tries to connect you into a different session and when it does, it tries to change the current time and weather to the actual time and weather of the new sesssion

You know, I don't play Red Dead Online, but I saw the Blood Money Trailer and I was really interested in the update and was considering actually playing Red Dead just to see if the update is any good. But after seeing how horrible the update really is and how they did the update, I didn't even need to play it to know it was really bad. The one time they put out an update that sounds interesting, it was messed up and became something that could've been so much more and so much more people could've loved.

I have the best horses, guns, businesses, I’m a made man. Fuck Rockstar, they treat us like trash.” I even made a trailer on my channel when the game had no content years ago. Such a slap in the face. Haven’t played in nearly a month. Won’t play until proven I should.

Man Red Dead online had so much potential and Rockstar just wasted it all.

Ending the streak kinda makes sense as multiplier ends at 28 days indicating it is a monthly thing, but cutting the nuggets to half seems too much. At the moment i don't bother to do more than one daily challenge just to keep the streak, when multiplier hits 2.0/2.5 then i start to do them as 0.25 and 0.75 nuggets are actually worth the effort.

I am a level 260 (restarted my character twice at level 25). I really love this game but it's insane to me, how few f#cks are given when it comes to bug fixes and updates... I especially have problems with the new opportunity missions, since every time I have to restart a mission (for example when a guard sees me through a freaking wall) I loose all of my ammunition for my the weapons I had on me, when I restarted. Of course I turned to R* support but they didn't fix sh#t... Lost about 120 capitale and/or the mission payouts....

If R* gets their head out of their ass and realize that GTA is almost a decade old game and it's old, graphics are meh well at least compared to RDO. we need rdr1 remake/remaster and more focus on online, i just finished the rdr2 story mode for the first time and im in the epilogue right now, this is by far the best game i've ever played as well as rdr1 i've been playing rdr2 online for a few months and it feels really lackluster compared to the story

I stopped caring about RDO as a fan back when they killed my 300+ days streak. as you mentioned I loved coming back for 20-30 minutes every night. Mexico has been an ask for as long as the game map was revealed. But the biggest grievance players SHOULD have is where the hell is all the easy to convert single player content to the online? Think about it, How many times have you yourself talked about the horse wrangling business not being a thing in online. Plenty. But what about the houses, the ranches, completed railways. RDO should be in a post narrative completion state. players can own the houses around the map. they can be ranch hands earning a percentage of the horses they tame, or wild horses they bring in, milking cows, selling milk, doing cattle drives, protecting the flock from wolf attacks and rival rustlers or enemy players if it's not an instance like say a naturalist mission. There is so much they can do with ranching it boggles the mind at how much of a time, gold, money sink it'd be and become the better part of the game. Then there is so much content they could do for mexico with the civil war. Gunrunning/smuggling/human trafficking. Extended moonshiner/trader deliveries, new fauna to find exclusively in Mexico like chili's or herbs, exclusive animals, new legendaries. Not to mention a few new or extended storyline missions just for online. Maybe even have sides. but unlike Gus vs Harriett the side you pick is semi-permanent. the payout would be the exact same for either side, however there'd be a benefit for siding with 'El Presidente' that area of Mexico is non-hostile. neither side would shoot you on sight, but a 'hostile' area could be a lot like van horn where AI would push you about, trying to incite violence from the player, vendors might have exclusive kit they only sell to thier side. But if you're with the 'Banditos del revolucion' the government side would be equally as hostile to you, bounties would be higher (to incite player bounty hunters to hunt you) but you get exclusive gear again, just imagine an area that is thieves landing on steroids. They could even introduce 'liar's dice' which i think would be the absolute biggest win for RDO players. That's just scratching the surface of what RDO COULD be offering.

I don’t really care about the cutting of the gold payouts at all because there is absolutely nothing to spend gold on. It’s a real shame. I will eat these words if they ever released properties and cool gold clothing lines that are actually nice.

I still find the game fun. Even with all the bull crap the Rockstar pulls me and my friends still find fun stuff to do for hours, regardless if it makes us money or not.

It is just very sad how this amazing game with incredible potential is just abandoned

i bought rdr online recently and tried joining a server and the first time i tried to join i got stuck at 50%

they could turn this game in to such an immersive online world when this game came out I thought the online version is gonna so massive and popular and high quality with tens of millions of people but I underestimated how bad Rockstar could turn out to be so suddenly

I am having issues with collectibles not spawning in accordance with the interactive map.

I don't wanna annoy anyone but since blood money update I ran into this Toggle aim bug on PC, basiclly the issue is I cannot toggle aim, or use any right-click interactions anymore while riding on a horse or wagon, I can now only hipfire on horses and wagons which is game-breaking bcoz I cannot defend myself on horses and wagons, I lost ability to protect myself while deliver goods alone ... I have uploaded a video of this bug, unfortunately I have tried everything and Rockstar couldn't help with it or fix it...
