For me it’s a 60-40. If I’m riding around enjoying the game and I see low level players (like today) they wave and use those gifted explosive ammo on me or kill me cus there bored and the higher level players.... if there bored there just gonna kill people in the lobby but it definitely is better

The number one thing that Red Dead does much better than GTA online is the hand to hand and melee weapon combat. Taking cover and crouching, and firing weapons are also better and feels more realistic. That's what I would like to see implemented in the next GTA game.

I still get killed for no reason sometimes very rarely. But to a far less degree than in GTA online. I don't give players the opportunity to kill me. I can play for hours and almost never come across a single player in a decent full sized lobby.

Well I ran into a kid who got the game recently and he immediately tried to kill me so I blasted him with a shotgun and he kept trying his hardest to kill me and eventually other players who were witnessing this jumped in and helped me out this happened yesterday in Valentine

It’s because the GTA community tends to be a bunch of dickheads, that don’t appreciate true art. It takes a player of a certain intelligence level to appreciate the world of red dead and its gaming mechanics. Sure, there are idiots in RDO too, but they are not nearly as common as they are in GTA.

I also try to fight back using tonics and explosives but sometimes things get wayy too expensive and i try my best to walk away. Tonics are really expensive. 7.5$ for each bottle. Every time i shoot a guy. She starts chugging like 3 bottles at a time

@@SoggyToast506 bro I was 17 when I first played RDR2 and I thought it was better than gta 5 but I guess I matured more quickly than most teens cause RDR2s story was great man and I like it's calm in RDR2 and the map has a lot of variety in it more than gta 5 a bunch of memorable small towns and different biomes to explore and random events that can happen at anytime

I rarely run into griefers. Most of the time other players are friendly. But once in awhile you'll run into someone that wants to be a jackass and try to throw me off my horse and purposely follow me around trying to crash into me. That's the least of it though. It's mostly a friendly experience during my time.

It's like there are two different types of players that play RDO and GTA. GTA is full of kids that play fortnite and like to kill everything in sight. And RDO is more of an adults game.

Since this game is sold separately there has been a growth in number of griefers, most griefers I encounter are low levels which I like to troll

I've always sold to distant buyer while i am obviously ready if someone attacks me to fight back that usually never happens, ppl just pass by and wave at me :D

@@itskiki4979 I just started playing the game 3 weeks back. I had no idea that people was so much friendly. I just assumed that it will the same as it's a Rockstar game. And at 25/50 delivery distant sell bonus is not that tempting. Just now that I have 100 delivery option I get tempted.

@@violetrrose That extra $150 is nice for a slightly longer drive. If you do find yourself getting griefed quit the session, then set you camp out by the Tumbleweed end of the map and try again. You don't lose any product, and it's a very straight sales run. I always camp and sell from Great Plains, and have only been attacked once. If I see another player doing a sale I'll usually ride away, put my guns away, wave, or get off my horse, just to show I'm not a threat.

@@violetrrose if you solo, always do short. There is no timer to show that you will be attacked. I get 500 for large short distance instead of being nervous of getting shot to do a long where you get only 100 more dollar. Not worth it for me.

To be fair RDO was never specifically meant to just be outlaws and gunslingers, RDO is made so your character is whoever you want them to be whether they’re a good guy or bad guy you write the story for your character They just need to add the bad guy roles to the game, the only outlaw thing we have is Moonshiner since Moonshining is technically an illegal business. I’d love to see a role that lets us rob trains and banks

The most memorable time I got shot in rdo for me is when this guy was bounty hunting me and I killed them one then they came back and blew me to pieces with an explosive arrow. It’s the most memorable as I had just realised I was about to get destroyed when it was too late.

That's the biggest problem in GTAO, it takes zero skill to chase down and destroy someone's sales mission, and even if you shoot them once they just come back a few seconds later to try again. I used to create a solo lobby before all sales missions, so I might as well be playing a solo game.

It's one of my favourite freemodes (along with under the bridge event). I do use my mk2 but i turn off homing missile and try to avoid others that are doing the event. Unfortunately some people like to kill you just to stop you winning even if they aren't participating.

In red dead online our characters all look really similar

Gta has way more clothing options. I understand red dead is in a certain time period where some clothes weren’t made yet. But still. I wanna be able to dress like jonah hex

Gta has more weapons and weapon customization in certain aspects. The fighting gameplay is very different since gta has so many weapons and vehicles

auto aim would be ok as long as it isnt crazy

Kinda be cool if gta added the biggest update ever, you can take a boat to rdo map with everything in rdo but no NPCs and all the buildings are damaged or broken down and animals took over the island, just a never gonna happen idea tho

Use the Jean ropke online collector map, it will help by a lot. Also Go through random spots which may increase your chance to get those rare collectibles. I needed that exact coin and I got it by going through a random spot.

Use the online collector map on google or safari. Mark all the coin locations and mark all the random metal detector locations.

I personally get bored of heists super easily and I'm not good with businesses so i don't make too much money in gta online, but i love everything in red dead so i make money and gold easily, i still think the double currency system with only one currency really being worth something is a shitty system, so i just vented without apporting anything of note really.

It makes sense. Look at the costs of things in RDO compared to GTAO. It’s easy to make money there but things cost soooooo much. In RDO all you need is a bounty license or a trader license and your good to go

its idiotic to even compare both games 1 is set in 1898 a time period where everything was mega cheap the other is based on modern times where houses cost 2 3 grand ferrari's cost 2 3 mill, Plus GTA always had 1 currency ever since GTA III but ever sine the casino update we can spend casino chips on clothes artwork masks and bed side items

Kids like whatever is popular Gta is more popular so kide are more likely to go to it , most kids I see playing cant even get the flying cars and vehicles with missiles because they are low levels who don't know how to make money And then since all the kids are in gta the majority of the players in red dead are the older players who actually appreciate it
