I can never watch Kikyo's death without absolutely sobbing. Her entire life and rebirth was just so unfair.

I love Inuyasha with both girls. They are the same soul. They have their own intimate moments and I believe Kagome wouldn’t have existed with Kikyo. If Naraku didn’t deceive them and Inuyasha did become all human, Kagome wouldn’t have been born, since Kikyo wouldn’t have to reincarnate. The show wouldn’t have happened. Rewatching the show now and Kagome exhibits parts of the personality Kikyo never had time or space to have because she was always fighting demons and protecting the Sacred Jewel. She mentions to Kaede that Inuyasha has changed and softened, and Kikyo said that she would have been the one to mend his heart if she didn’t die. Kagome lives out a purpose for Kikyo; that’s why she was born from her soul. It’s a great anime and I love the vocabulary and beautiful lessons about life and doing what’s right from watching Inuyasha all over again. Truly one of the best of its time!

Sango makes me cry so much, there's just something about her voice that breaks me. Every time Sango gets even remotely upset I start sobbing lol. Kelly Sheridan is incredibly talented.

Kagura's death, and life, is one is one of the most tragic in all of anime. She was never truly a villain, she was a victim. Who spent of her time covertly aiding the protagonists.

I hate how people keep calling Kagome useless and weak. Personally, I think Kagome is very strong. Maybe not physically(though she does have her badass moments) but emotionally. Kagome had to leave behind her family, friends, her life so she could get back the pieces of the jewel. She didn't choose to have that jewel in her body but worked hard to find the shards anyway. She trusted people and though many may say that it's stupid, I think being able to trust people takes a lot of courage because it means she's not afraid of getting hurt. She doesn't want revenge on those who hurt her and even when Inuyasha leaves her for Kikyo, she still accepts him with open arms. She doesn't drown in her sorrows and fights for others even when she's hurting on the inside. I don't hate Kikyo or anything. She's actually one of the characters I like the most but I think it's unfair for people to compare the two when they're both different people who just happen to fall in love with the same guy (the same guy who couldn't just pick one girl so that the other wouldn't have to hope for something more). So yeah. That's it for my rant.

Kikyo got her wish. She wished to the Jewel to be an ordinary woman and love Inuyasha that's why Kagome was born.

Kagura's death was practically the most saddest and dramatic death. She was literally a slave to Naraku for 9 seasons! All she wanted was freedom and the moment it was given to her it was taken away from her. I was getting misty when she was dying but also happy because she didn't die alone. Kikyo's was definitely sad but Kagura was one of the only villian, well I guess next to Kana, who I really liked. #RIPKAGURA

I don't know why... but nothing cant beat the beauty yet depressing death of Kagura... An existential endeavor, for freedom and companionship, easily relatable, packed in simple lines Are you leaving? Yes, it's enough already You need solid character development and story to make that lines work without any goodbyes and tears!

Only matured people can love kikyo. Sure, After rewatch inuyasha from episode 1 to end. I came to a conclusion. Kikyo life is very tragic. Since, first time i watch inuyasha. i was like 9 Years old. And i always hate kikyo back before. i thinks she likes a villain.. But after like 10 years. i rewatch inuyasha. and get a different perspective. After become matured person. I came to a conclusion and i like kikyo more than ever. No hate to kagome though. I like she also. but kikyo is different level for me. For 18 years old women. I see kikyo is one of the most matured women in anime. And after seeing her death in Final Act Eps. 8. I shred tears for the first fucking time. Never before i crying for watching Anime/TV Series/Movies and so on. Her death is so tragic. So sad. And for you guys thinks she is villain. Remember she is already died. A good ole classic that I won’t ever forget

You know it just accured to me that Naraku saved kikyo in a round about way and created his own demise. If he would of let them be, kikyo would of been in the shikon jewel after her death and forever be stuck in an unending battle, and inuyasha would of become human and unable to defeat him.

I don't get why everyone hates on Kikiyou. She's so strong, smart, and kind. She saved so many people's lives and souls including Kohaku, Rin, and Miroku. She actually gets shit done instead of monologuing and missing like Kagome. Her character is tragic. Her parents were killed when she was young, and she was forced to guard the jewel due to her immense spiritual power. Then she met Inuyasha. She was Inuyashas first love, she taught him how to love and she loved him. They made each other feel like normal people. Right before they were going to spend their life together she was brutally murdered by someone she took care of disguised as her lover. She was brought back to life involuntarily and was full of hate (understandable) but as soon as she learned the truth she did everything with a plan. She didn't try to rekindle her romance with inuyasha because she knew she was dead and there was no point but that doesn't mean it didn't hurt her to see him with Kagome. So she spends her time back on the Earth taking care of people while plotting to kill Naraku. Fast forward to the end she dies after saving Miroku. And even after she died she still managed to save Kohakus life too. And inuyasha loved her more than anyone. He became depressed after her death, he wouldn't even sleep because he saw her in his dreams. Watch episode 10(?) of final act. The man read his heart and said, "The woman you loved most in the world died." If she hadn't died I'm sure he would've chosen to be with her and Kagome could've just stayed in her time. Okay rant over.

For the last episode I started tearing up when Kagome was staring into the well. Her just recounting what happened three years past, while looking into the well between dimensions that stopped working, I found that so, so sad.

Despite the turmoil and the love triangle between Inuyasha, Kikyo and Kagome I still adore Kikyo. What happened to her and inuyasha was tragic and unfair. They were truly in love but Naraku turned them against each other. It turned out well in the end cuz she was reincarnated as Kagome but nonetheless. They would’ve lived happily ever after if things were different.
