I am a motorcycle enthusiastic... I love making videos with scooters and commuter motorcycles and I like to do unboxings... and also I travel a lot... and this is how travel moto exists.
I want to let you guys know that I am not the best rider ever who speaks good English and knows much about details of the bikes... I just love what I am doing and love motorcycles.
if you have knowledge about motorbikes and scooters you can be part of the videos by leaving your comments. (I read them all and visit your channels).
I travel the world for motorcycle shows with classic motorcycles and mostly scooter motorbikes such as Honda, Yamaha, Suzuki and also scooters from KYMCO, SYM, BMW etc...
I am generally fond of classic motorcycles but also of mega scooters and in the city you will find me riding small scooters or mopets (mobylette).

The 3 wheels is a good option for those who still want to ride but want a bit more stability due to age or finding a bigger, heavier machine harder to keep upright. They are also a good idea for the new rider. The two wheels up front provide more stability than 2 at the back. With the 2 wheels at the back trike the engine is also at the back and the weight is all at the back meaning in some cases at high speed the front of the trike is inclined to lift off the road. It may be rare and only at high speed but is does happen. Since physics shows that when trying to stop a moving vehicle, 2,3 or 4 wheels all the weight is thrown forward it makes sense to have 2 wheels up front where the traction and stopping power will be maximised. The 4 wheeler would be a lot of fun - it tilts and leans just like a bike - not sure how/whether it might counter steer but it would be stable in all sorts of conditions. I think the company behind them is Swiss but they are made in Taiwan. I don't think many of the bikes shown in this video are available in Australia. Some were offered but didn't sell well so were withdrawn from the market others were never available here.

So are these scooters concidered trikes then? I ask because apparently in Texas you can get either a trike or two wheel motorcycle license. Being as I like Harley trikes as well as Can Am was wondering if the trike license can work with these as well?

First, you showed more than 5 scooters, and one had 4 wheels. LOL! They are all pretty cool but I have to say the Qooder is the best. Although if you go to their website they also make a 3 wheeler called the QV3. also very cool. Alas I'm in America and the only one I've seen here are the MP3's.

Il QOODER 400 cc unico al mondo con 4 ruote basculanti col sistema HTS . Il più sicuro e confortevole tra gli scooter con più di due ruote, ma anche tra quelli con solo due ruote ! A Milano centro lo trovi in Viale Gian Galeazzo 10 zona Navigli e Darsena. Probabilmente il più bello ed in maggio anche con motore elettrico !

Since seeing the first Yamaha Tricity, with only a 125cc engine, I have said that it should have had about 300cc. 125cc and even 150cc offers too little power for a 3-wheeler as it's considerably heavier than a regular scooter and that is especially noticable at the 'small' end of the range. EDIT Now there is a 300cc Japanese-made bike of this nature, I might rent one to see if it filters as well as a 2-wheeled equivalent. *Japanese-made - the Japanese are not find of foreign competion in their domestic market and the support/dealer network for non-Japanese (bikes in particular) vehicles is not good.

Any model with a front wbeel track of over 450mm...fitted with a foot brake....in the uk you must have got your license before January 2013

In Europe the Piaggio MP3 16years now is the best selling. I think now with the newest version of Piaggio MP3 400 HPE and 530 HPE it’s easily not only in the first choice but and in the technology too.

Here in Japan I saw a guy using a Honda Monkey 50cc for winter touring in a very, very snowy part of the country. He had had studded tires made as a custom addition to his bike. That would probably be better than chains for a bike. Chains would probably cause too much adverse handling, but you'd need to speak with someone who knows more to be sure.

These are great and probably economical, but by the time they get to Australia and pay import tax and dealer fees, it's cheaper to but a big motorbike.

In sweden a Piaggio Mp3 500 at the moment cost 12000 euro so its not cheap. The price to pay for being to lazy to get a legit mc drivers license :p

The Honda Gyro scooter had one wheel in front and two in the back. They made it about 35 years ago, in the 1980's.

Someone told me that two wheels in the back made it more prone to flipping. But I have also read that having two wheels in the front gave it more stability when braking since the weight shifts to the front.
