Since I am from Russia, I can also say a selection of cool TV shows, they are more for teenagers 1.Chernobyl exclusion zone - very interesting watch the trailer it is on English subtitles 2.Stone Jungle Law (ZKD) 3.Vampires of the middle lane 4. Survival game 5. Troubled teens Hope it helped :)

@@lronshawcross2248 haha yeah the quality of English series is better on average. But with those I always feel like I'm wasting my time. Whereas Russian series are fine to watch AND learn something new!

Thanks! Listening to a course while waling your dog sounds like a great idea. You've got to walk him every day, so if you can get into the habit of audio courses, you'll be able to consistently make progress learning Russian. The audio course that helped me the most was Russianpod101. I listened to it for about 1.5 year while commuting to work for 20 minutes each day. Mosfilm on KZfaq is also a good channel with Russian subtitles. And if you're interested, I recommend series "Better Than Us" (Лучше, чем люди) 😊

I'm learning Russian (Last 6 month is much serious and I even finished busuu -except I didn't do conversation parts so it's show 79% fluent- but still not fluent. ) But at least for me watching english shows with russian dub and russian sub is much helpful it's seems. Even in my country's netflix has them.

Als je het alfabet al weet, ben je al op weg. Ik zou beginnen met Michel Thomas Russian luisteren. Goede audiocourse die vooral focust op spreken (maar onderweg ook dingen als cases en andere grammatica bespreekt). Мне кажется, главное - это падежи. Если собеседник не соблюдает это правило, то это неприятно на слух, Пусть лучше будет небольшой словарный запас, простые предложения, но с соблюдением падежей , так как окончания слов передают смысл речи,

I wouldn't speak the Russian I do today without the 10 minute podcasts of Russianpod101. I listened on average to 1 lesson per day for a little over a year from April 2016 to August 2017, and I credit most of my early progress to them :) Since then they've added more content (video lessons, word lists, business Russian etc.) but you really only need the audio lessons if speaking Russian is your goal. I'm a big fan of the audio format, as you can listen to the lessons while commuting, taking a walk or doing household chores. Helaas niet zo veel haha. Russisch heeft wel heel veel woorden hetzelfde die te maken hebben met de scheepvaart, omdat Tsaar Peter een tijdje in Amsterdam heeft geleefd.

I don't think you mentioned a couple of old series -- schastlivie vmeste happy together, which is Married with Children but in Russian and then the other similar series about the poor chick who moves to Moscow and becomes a maid. There is also the series about the ugly chick (who isn't really ugly)(but is reallly a geeeeek) who is in love with her boss I think it's something like krasota ni rodila v odin dnei or such.

@@LearntheRussianLanguage I'm Russian and it was a real pain when i watched something in English with the Russian subs while i was learning English, so i decided no to torture my brain any more and switched to english subs besides it's much more immersive this way and boost foreign language learning much better

Ik neit veit var is mein Hart. I live in thunderbay. Google it. Ontario, Canada. The valley is 50% Dutch. LOL. I live at Oliver Lake, Neebing municipality. The Dutch community separates me from civilization.

Aha, I've got a friend who works with greenhouses and he travels to Canada a couple times per year. He told me the same thing about all the Dutch people in that area. Lots of siblings of my grandparents also moved to Canada after the second world war.
