He sounds like a toxic narcissist. Are you single, if yes, are you single because you are a narcissist? Do you like adoration? Do you care about your appearance? Do you use makeup? Is that a superficial charm? He sounds crazy. 🙂

Andrew was fired up today! Love these videos. I’ve been describing why I kept going back even though I knew we would just break up again or knew she was using me because it was an addiction. I was addicted to her and I would wait for her to call or text. Even now I wait for her 2nd hoover attempt. The addiction is wearing off slowly and I am becoming the 3rd version of myself. Stay strong everyone!

Keep going. When you go through so many cycles of devaluation and discard then coming back together you will realize one of it was real. Just like cutting out carbs or drugs or smoking, or anything else you know is nothing but harmful to you, you can overcome the addiction.

Even when you know what narcissism is, it's easy to be fooled by them, if you are a codependent empathic. We may understand what's going on earlier than most people, but often they hide the real them until after the " I do's" .

I’m going to take a stab at this before watching: 1. Bullying and engaging flying monkeys despite the ultimate destruction of themselves. 2. Gaining false adulation and attention 3. Bringing down those around them because it’s the only thing that can temporarily ease their self-hatred (dopamine hit) 4. Fooling, duping,, scheming and conning people. 5. Destroying peoples empathy and compassion because they can’t experience these feelings genuinely. Let’s watch, hope I got one! 😌

K, those aren't your friends, ditch and no contact! Stay safe, cut your losses count your blessings, keep watching and learning, try Rebecca Zung the lawyer narc slayer, you got this, no contact for sure, let him know you're not his to take his frustrations out on, cops aren't refs... Do you know it wasn't until '79 that a woman could charge her husband with rape! Keep your eyes open, don't be a stat be part of the woman's liberation movement!

I have ALWAYS been too trusting, and I have been I a vulnerable. EVERY time I met the narcissist in my life. My vulnerability started early in my life and I have healed from the original childhood trauma, and I realized this week that I had a traumatic experiences when I was 13,and I have revisited this memory this week and for the first time, I didn't come unglued and become emotional about it. I had a few pangs of sadness, but I was able to calmly file the memory away and focus on other things that are important to me. It feels really good... Whooo-hooooo! TY Andrew and thank God. I think this was a great video. 🙏✌️❤️✝️😊

They all can't be stunning, many are not,but stunning beauty can cause someone to become a narcissist..like many actors and actresses.I worked with a doctor who is Mr. GQ. he was clueless, and his wife was no beauty, married many years. ..I wish I was a photographer .Looking back at my younger photos now that I am older I realized I was a really good looking, attractive woman,,I was clueless..

It's great that he has an understanding, and while the majority of them *are* "beautiful", some are physically unremarkable -the coverts and vulnerable narcissists are often more average. What is a handy "rule of thumb" is that they will (generally) be *outstanding in a coveted quality.* They are probably "leading the pack" in some regard. It might be money, it might be intellect, it might be athletic prowess, it might be gaming, or power (for example) -but if they are *overt* they will almost invariably have a "prized attribute" of some description. I hope that helps -and that I'm not off target.

The narc friend I had actually showed me the red flags pretty early on, but I didnt want to see. One day i received a message and didnt answer right back because I was busy at the time. Shortly after i received 3 back to back emoji messages of 👍, and thought thats an odd way to communicate. Anyway, next thing I get unfriended on SM. So I messaged him and said why did you unfriend me. I received a response of, I don't kiss nobody's @$$ to talk! (Yea, thats the ego of a true narcissist). I apologized for not getting right back 😥. That was the day I became both addicted and abused. I had little to no self worth from years of abuse from another one. To look back, and to the present, I see how much I've healed and what I will and will not tolerate from anyone.

Yes i was addicted, now im recovering. Having no contact for coming up to 6 weeks has given me time to process, when i was in contact i was so caught up in it, since no contact i have had a very strange experience. The last time i saw him i told him about when i was a kid id pick roses for my mum. That since my mum passed id had signs that shes around. Anyway, he knows i am out and about on a certain night and what bus stop i go to and the number bus i get well, that night there were red rose petals scattered around the bus shelter. When my bus came along, there were rose petals on the floor of the bus. I no it sounds nuts, but i thought did he do it? So that id call him to tell him about it. I didnt but thats nuts.

Hey Flower and Emily!!! 🙌🙌😁🤗❤️🤗❤️🤗🌹🌹😇. OMG you guys! I just watched an ENORMOUSLY satisfying video of a judge up in Michigan who, in AWARD-WINNING fashion, cut a narc down to size!!! She was acting up in the courtroom, shouting at the judge and the bailiff, talking OVER them, accusing the judge of not caring about HER safety (narc’s) and the judge ULTIMATELY threatening to hold her in contempt and toss her in jail for 93 days! 😁👏😁👏😁 That is the ONLY way to handle an INSUFFERABLE narcissist who FALSELY believes what THEY have to say is more important than what ANYONE else has to say. 😂😂😂 Is there a Judge E. Lynise Bryant School of REAL World Etiquette that we can SEND these negative IQ, entitled individuals to?! I imagine failure just would NOT be an option! You don’t pass, you don’t leave! 😂😂😂

I remember back then and it was so hard to get through it. But I prayed harder than I ever have in my life and God helped me out of the trauma bond.. when you are around a Narcissist you stop praying..I noticed that. He or she wants you away from God. He tried so hard to break me down. But I did wake up and God helped me to wake up. Now I'm on my healing journey and I don't think or care about the Narc anymore. I'm a super empath..I have work to do for the Lord. I don't have time for that bs. It took me 3 years. It's not easy but if I can then you can too. Please continue Andrew. Great teaching video, Andrew! Love the beautiful background. Interesting and truthful way your narrative transitions into the Addiiction Stage or “gotcha” stage where you are trapped and without consciously realizing it, you have dropped your allegiance to yourself and become consumed with reporting to, allegiance to the narc. You illustrate this transition so well, at the same time, so scary to see how easily it happens. How quickly we give ourselves over to them, not knowing what we have just entered into. The illusion they are portraying is something that our inner self so desperately wants. We need to examine that and guard ourselves to keep that from happening again. Still healing, still on the quest to find the path to the best version of me. May each one experience healing to their optimum health, happiness, peace and joy of life. Let us put this behind us and move forward to our best selves. God bless every one. ✝️🙏🏻🕊️☀️🦋🌿🌳🌲🌷🌎❤️

I think back over the decades of people I had known and encountered and many are mentioned here frequently and it explains a lot of behaviors. Watching every day I have heard nothing false, nothing inaccurate and nothing really embellished. Remarkable insight here! All that is said is a great watch out and remember when. I was in the middle of a recovery program, and I had a relapse, and I looked for an international bride because of my relapse. I found her from Brazil. She did everything that you’re saying for five months. That last month of our six month relationship she became someone else. She disappeared. She was very absent. We used to video call every couple of days for two or more hours. Holiday season, three or four weeks, 2023 we had all of two or three real video calls, and two of them were the night I dumped her on New Year’s Eve.. otherwise we fought in text . I was available. She was not . that’s not even counting, what used to be constant contact on WhatsApp, every 10 to 15 minutes. That last month she would read my comment and not respond for an hour or two and she would be on WhatsApp on weird off hours she was autistic, and according to her, had no friends. Yeah I dodged a bullet with that one.

This video has been watched multiple times..sent to another and now I am posting on it. What you offer in this is not just advice for those who are currently dealing with a narcissist and are clueless...not just those of us who literally almost physically died from intense abuse and are now healed...but FOR ANY PERSON SEEKING OR IN ANY TYPE OF RELATIONSHIP. Red flags are often overlooked because your supposed knight and shining armor has come to say all the right things and do all the right "stuff" As a single woman with a higher standard..your videos keep me encouraged that I am never alone as I am my own best partner! Maybe one day I will be given the chance to love and honor again...but for now...I just want to encourage and pray for all of you who are in a lockdown of yourself.

Narcissists are often zealots for some cause, and consider themselves the zenith, the top pinnacle of all humanity, even though they’re total zeros. The way they try and keep us zippered-up by zapping our beautiful bright energy with their constant zig-zagging! 😂 great series idea Andrew!

Yup I just had gotten out of of a another narcissist relationship only 3 months before this other narc swooped in..but this last narc I had seen or known about since I was a kid and he use to be my brothers best friend ..so we had that in common and he knew talking about my brother ..who’s currently doing 40 yrs in prison ..and music would bond me to him ..that’s why it’s harder for me with this last relationship then the other narc relationship. I’m healing different with this last one.

The narcs might have really thought that I needed a lot of time to heal from this, but I don't. That's the shocker. They severely underestimated my 'control panel'.

The verbal abuse was so much worse than the physical. You are right, it takes a lot of work. It takes continued strength to stick to your boundaries. It is such freedom letting go and not looking back.

Thank you for your regular videos. I listen to them during the day, to remind me why I am no-contact. @17:55 is really profound. That rabbit hole is real. I can see the trail of narcissists in my life, and it began with my mother who was so cruel to me, she didn't even call me when my dad died. I found the needle in the haystack well before my dad died, but after he died, I found a will in which he cut her out entirely, which confirmed my theories that she is a malignant narcissist. She broke my dad. I'm glad you got away from the narc in your life. I am no-contact with my mother now. Not even a will can make me break no-contact. My life is peaceful and yes, I am always first, second, and third in my life now.

I am 2and a half years post narc. Much has happened in that time. My narc mom and brother died after I took care of them. I had heart surgery and survived. I am just now getting around to finding Andrew's videos and on the healing path. Never thought I would make it but I had forgotten how to take care of myself. I'm so much better and my spiritual and physical health are back. Thank you Andrew and thank you Jesus

This is soooo spot on! I have broke free of the narcissist grasp, but I made a mistake! I didn't listen to what I saw in other videos. I called her out upon departure and now things are getting ugly. Her family who at one point sided with me. They knew she had some issues, but now they are defending her and attacking me! People listen to the videos! Bight your tongue one more time, just say goodbye, block, go no contact! I wish I would have ! Ugh!

That video summed up my relationship 💯 especially about getting texts and dropping everything to answer, it didn’t matter what I was doing I’d text back within secs otherwise I’d get a phone call with him raging so you jump through hoops and he always wanted to know where you were, what you were doing, who you were with.. the list is endless. It was mentally exhausting. I’m free now & zero contact. Thank you Andrew

Towards the end, for reasons I can't really say because of what I did for her, I started putting my wallet where she had to ask for it on paydays. I think that sent the message that I was tired of being taken for granted. I was so overwhelmed with stress because of what I did for her only for her to turn everything around on me. Let's just say that there wasn't much she wouldn't do for a few extra dollars as long as she didn't have to get a job and used bedroom blackmail, which took well over a year to wear me down with the nagging and everything else on top of the blackmail. It was game over for me afterwards.

Yes something about him I adored. I found his deadpan face and stoic facade hilarious because that's not me at all. I was attracted to that, when I got the discard I saw it as a toddler. Destroying the shared fantasy though was very painful for me. Now again healing with even more narcissism around me, it seems like an accelerated sequence of people that I trigger to show themselves evil
