The scorpion trick works also with tc's hitting a group of enemy units next to it, just click the first one in the row and most of the units in the back will get the arrow fire. It is not the full damage of the arrows but its still better than missing completely if you target the last unit in the row/group

I knew all of these things. I'm also 900 elo. I don't know if I should be proud that I knew all this at a low rank, or ashamed that I'm such a low rank despite apparently knowing all the weird mechanical minutia of this game. Maybe if I spent less time in the scenario editor and looking at the tech tree, and more time practicing build orders, I'd be better.

Hey Hera! Great to see you came back to make these type of tutorials. The ones with full games are very long! Some ideas for next tutorials: 1. Best ship- Naval techs and development order 2. University techs and development order 3. Best civs for each map and WHY. Its easy to find stats on which civs win in each map but not necessarily understand why 4. Best matchups and worst matchups per CIV and WHY. Once again, is not easy to understand why some civs are better vs others 5. Sugested Army composition per civ

Great video! Only thing I found odd was how you described the scorpions should hit the right most or left most unit. Wouldn't it be better to describe it as front unit vs rear unit since that would accurately describe all situations regardless of whether the units are moving left, right, up, or down in relation to the scorpions?

Just some criticism to these explanation type videos: Try and script what you want to explain at least a little bit. The dodging ballistics part for example felt very rambly and at one point you repeated yourself like three times over and sometimes it makes it hard to listen to. Very cool of you to do these types of videos in the first place though! They are very interesting and helpful
