I brought Toy Boy a few weeks ago. I said aloud upon sampling, this shit smells weird. I tried a few more fragrances but i kept coming back to Toy Boy. Needless to say, I bought the entire gift set. The saleswoman added a small set for my son. This fragrance is definitely a Bagger. It easily stays on my skin 10+ hrs. Complement factor is outrageous!

Great recommendations, Justin. I'd say that my most unusual but nice is Roja's Danger Parfum Cologne. It has this cumin that comes across as a bit of BO, but it's also extremely elegant and nice!

Nice list J.C. One of my most unusually incredible scents is Mancera Aoud Lemon Mint. That fragrance is simply OUTSTANDING!!! Also, Nishane Hacivat is INCREDIBLE. I know it’s compared to Aventus, but Hacivat smells waaaaaay better than the batch of Aventus I have. Last, but not least, Maison Francis Kurkdjian Oud Satin Moon extrait is in a league of it’s own. Holla.

Hi Justin! I commented a while back asking if you had tried Hiram Green fragrances. Well, I got a sampler myself, and I’m obsessed with Hyde. It is a BEAST! Very challenging smoke bomb for the first 30-45 minutes, but is a truly intoxicating scent once it settles. Rich, dark, mysterious, and enveloping.

Rich Mess is a beast in the first couple of hours. It does mellow a bit after and it becomes a bit more sweet. I love the drydown! And that atomizer sprays half a bottle at once. :)))

Enjoyed this great topic. As far as unusual scents go Gallivant Los Angeles is certainly unique and has gotten positive attention for me. Their newest release Bukhara is an extremely unique orris based scent I can't say much about positive feedback due to it being a more recent release/acquisition and the covid ish but my girl liked it off me lol. I received the new Meremeta launch.....MOJA !! Very unique....!!!.....Musky..lavender/iris...pear...bergamot...vetiver..light woods and musk. It is one that develops as it's on the skin....not linear...IMO....Nice juice and unique !!! I love Toy Boy....one of the best of 2020...IMO. I am dying to try Rich Mess!! I prefer the Guerlain Ideal Homme EDT over the Edp. Great video, as always. Cheers !!

For me, its gotta be Aurum by Kemi. Aurum has SEVERAL notes in it including Strawberry and Chocolate. The opening though was offputting for me at first. It kinda had this fermented fruit smell to it but as the progression started to happen it becomes very pleasant and fancy I guess you could say. It's in my top 5 Niche scents coming from the Xerjoff/Kemi line. I don't have a full bottle yet but, I plan on pulling the trigger on it.

Hello JC. About Argos: BDC was my favorite from Argos, mostly because it was unlike anything I had smelled. But after hearing, and thereafter smelling, how similar it is to Irish Leather, it got me to revisit my opinions about the collection. I have to ask: is the collection comprised of original compositions, or did Christian draw inspiration from existing fragrances? Or was a perfumer who composed the original, or one of the sources of inspiration, consulted as part of the creative process? Thanks.

As far as I understand, Christian composed all of the fragrances himself, and has admitted to purposefully avoiding other fragrances completely for the past several years. Therefore, he says it is mostly coincidence that his creations resemble other fragrances. Bacio Immortale is often compared to Tuscan Leather, Brivido Della Caccia to Italian Leather, and Triumph of Bacchus to Mancera Red Tobacco. I'm sure Christian is aware of these fragrances but I can't say how familiar he is with them. To me, purposefully making something similar to something like Tuscan Leather makes sense (Christian has told me in private that was not his intention)...but the other two are lesser known and thus not as popular, so it is strange to me that they might become the subject of being "cloned". Either way, the whole collection smells wonderful. But there is no obligation to try them. And if you are concerned about cloning...many other niche brands do it too! Creed, Parfums de Marly, Tiziana Terenzi, even Mancera/Montale. And many others.

Justin.....don’t stop! I found Moschino Toy Boy at TJ Maxx a while back and bought it because it was just too cute for a guys fragrance...lol. I’d call this a unique unisex frag. On my skin it is a peppery rose with some spices. The rose isn’t candied, nor is it my grandma’s old purse.....it’s a fresh, crimson rose bud that isn’t fully open....it’s gorgeous....and the longevity is impressive. Nice to see you mention this one👍🏻

I’m going to have to get a nose on that Lhome Ideal. As for Brivido Bella Caccia from Argos, it’s the one scent from the house I don’t play with. The rest “even Pour Femme” I love and own Pour Homme and Triumph of Baccus. But Brivido just didn’t resonate with me. However I tend to like the mass appealing stuff and my nose isn’t quite as educated

L'homme Ideal EDP is incredible I love it. May be one of my favorite purchases of the year. Such a smooth sweet scent. Man I'll tell you an purchase I made this year that really blew me away. Navitus Parfums Lautus. Starts out almost fizzy/ effervescent. Dries down with that vanilla absolute. Its so good. The 3 fragrances from Navitus I have Lautus, Arcanum and Opulentas are good

@@stayfreshproductions the one positive I’ve managed to find while social distancing and avoiding places of gather, I get to experiment, A LOT, sans the fear of offending anyone, lol. It’s a fun way to kill time alone, reading about and comparing their notes, and how/ where they’re layered, tinkering with compatibility. So far my favorite layering combo of the two is: Toy Boy first, not a full spray, since it can be beasty, then a heavier layer of Spicebomb Extreme on top; a 1:2 ratio, basically. I could, quite possibly, have the WORST nose and taste in the world, so keep that in mind, please, before you secretly mock me (or openly, if you will) because it’s so bad, so laughably shitty. 😉 I also enjoy Royal Oud and L’Homme Ultime together. My dear friend, now guinea pig, likes both combos; but she has allergies, so who knows. ;)

I was curious what kind and what color pants that you wore with this? My guess to how you are such a great dresser, is that you are a model and model clothes? Ps. Almost all of the reviewers that I watch have showed off their hot woman except you,why not? You are in great shape,so maybe you don't because your door is a revolving door,and you love them and leave them?

For some reason, I always thought that Lyric Man was a better composition of Toy Boy. I call Lyric Man the "Christina Hendricks" of the fragrance game.
