It's a addiction type fragrance. First time when I tried I felt it's Worst fragrance I have ever bought but day by day after using it I got massive addiction on this now it's my most favorite Cologne

I like this fragrance and I have gotten a solid amount of compliments wearing it. It does smell A LOT better in the air though. Heavily synthetic if you smell it directly from the skin, not great. Some people that gave me compliments for the smell in the air did not like it once they smelled it of my skin. I will always avoid to smell this directly from skin, since that gives me an unpleasent sourness. In the air though? Amazing IMO. Fun fact: 3 different people that are not into fragrance independently told me I smell like fir wood / fir forrest

You definitely need big D energy to pull this scent off. Confidence is rewarded when wearing this one.

oh, have you tried declaration d'un sour by Cartier? it is a very well done rose, little spicy opening. very very elegant. it is discontinued but it can still be found out there. the intense version I've heard is similar but with a little more creaminess to it.
@hasanbulut91935 ай бұрын
I watched every video about it and you are the only one that understood this one. This isn't a "rose" fragrance that others talks about nor from "tuxedo" dna. I still find it to be a full bottle worthy because synthetics has a use case and Toy Boy being different and dark makes it a much better pick than Savage or other aromatic synthetics.

I own a bottle and I like it a lot, because it's different.

I heard somewhere it resembles Rose's on ice (by Kilian).. Have you tried that one too by any chance? Thank you for your thorough reviews! (Another MD here ;))

Great review, I love this fragrance but I hate the bottle and marketing
@seansoler09072 жыл бұрын
Lol idk if we smelled the same Toy Boy but mine does not smell anything bitter at all. It also doesn't have Ambroxine, you prob confuse that with the pink pepper. For me and people that have smelled it on me, it's mostly the fresh pear and rose they smell. The pink pepper is only on the opening note

Seeing him review this so off from reality is so subering. Because I do like his reviews but thss perfume is so good. I disliked it due so some negative reactions online. But I had the chance to test this on my skin, it's actually amazing.

FragranceDoc was a little better in my opinion, but idk I’ve tried toy boy and I highly dislike it because the best Rose fragrance ever is Zaharoff Signature Rosé and the only one I’ve enjoyed( haven’t tried ysl l’homme ultime )

This Frag is fire, just buy it, his review is way off base. Pear, rose, not synthetic at all, this stuff is incredible

Spot on review! was blown away by this fragrance. It is very unique and daring yet quite wearable. I also love the gender bending idea. However I totally agree with you. First blast is niche quality idea, but over time it becomes too cloying and synthetic for me. Maybe in cool weather it would be great but I don’t love it enough to really give it a chance.

Ah Psy MD, that’s how you can afford these fragrances lol. I stick to the under 50 ones unfortunately as it’s an expensive hobby. Any tips or hints will be helpful for the low earners with big nose?

Haha here’s the thing. I’m all about value as well. There are a handful of cheapies that I like more than many $300 fragrances- Lalique lion and horse, Burberry touch, the whole encre noire line, the list goes on. But more importantly, I don’t collect hundreds of fragrances like many people. I keep it to 50 or less and turn them over as my taste changes.
@indianpilgrim2 жыл бұрын
@@UrbanDwellerNYC I just ordered the 3 encre noires, Bentley intense and acqua essentialse blue and a few vials of creed, like Silver Mountain Water, Himalaya and Hermes Intense Vetiver. No idea about the Lion Lalique you mention…Any nicer designer or non-designer fragrances you recommend that’s good to own even if it’s just one or two. I live in South Asia generally, though right now in the USA, I’m torn between the nicer winter frags vs the high heat ones…don’t want to collect too many of the dark ones but I guess that’s what I seem to be attracted to.

Look for this Fragrances if you like Rose: Guerlain Musc Noble, Floris s Rose for...., Cartier declaration d'un soir, Prada infusion d'Rose. I personsl like Toy boy s lot, it's a very modern and masculine take on rose + metallic sauvace like scents. I wear it on cooler spring days for casual looks and going out.
@UrbanDwellerNYC2 жыл бұрын
I've had Declaration D'un Soir and liked it at first but felt it was too old womanish at times. I was very curious about Floris a Rose for as I am a fan of Floris - can you tell me more about it?
@sallysbananenrepublik37402 жыл бұрын
@@UrbanDwellerNYC I don't know but i really like the Fragrances with a female touch^^ I wear declaration d'un soir for semi formal and formal outfits for nightouts, when im going to a special location with a women. It has this understatement romantic feel about it. A Rose for... starts a little bit fruity with a very smoth wellrounded bleck berry note in combination with unsweet tea note, which balance the fragrance really good out. Some moments later the rose comes out, its a very soft but female rose(not a sour or fresh rose, more like slighty sweet) with a slightly lipsticky vipe from the iris. In the background you can pick up a very tiny hint of oud, with gives a little bit of a smoky feeling but it's very deep in the background.

Fairly polarising scent, you either you like it or don't, I'll give it Kudos for daring to be different but the scent is not very versatile and therefore not for me.
