A cousin of mine had a Pontiac for over 17 years. He hit a deer and finally junked it. The Man cried over that car 😂. He said it was the best car he ever had.

Hello , I'm 62 and never owned a new car and all of my cars that I ever bought was never more than 3 K . My last car that regretted selling was a 1987 Buick skylark with 37000 miles that came from Bayonne New Jersey and I kept it for six years and put 30000 miles on it with minor maintenance . I'm a firm believer changing the oil every 2000 miles or less and maybe that's why I had very minor problems. I have been actively looking for a 2004 or 05 Buick Lesabre preferably 1 owner and properly maintained but I haven't seen any in your price range that you mentioned .

Yeah it’s difficult for me as well. I bought a 2000 ford f-150 for my first car for $1500, discovered months later that the thing was leaking oil from the pan and a head gasket. Probably going to have to sell the thing soon, so I’m looking

@@jplifts3008 Trucks will ALWAYS cost more @ the same year and same mileage compared to most 'cars'. So getting a 2000 F-150 for $1500 is like someone just giving you a 2000 car with the same mileage for free! You HAVE to expect it will need work soon and head gasket is unfortunately not cheap.
