I don't know how much it would actually cost them, but I think people would buy that shit up just so they have a new xenos race to paint, even if you couldn't have a whole army of them.

@@URKCEHinoSuu it’s actually called an “Attack Moon” rather than a “War Moon” They are basically just huge asteroids (or literally the size of a moon, hence the name), think of a Star Wars Death Star, then imagine Orks building one, that’s an attack moon.

I'm kinda surprised the Tau don't have aircraft from the Nicassar. Nicassar ship models exist for Battlefleet Gothic, at least.

@@michasalamon8315 it's true, but at the same time he is fanatically loyal to the Imperium and very pragmatic: with the Galaxy in flames he would surely first fight to keep the Imperium alive, setting things later or letting Guilliman do that while he leads the armies.

@@tjb_6203 True they were humans, I think with Xenos allies.

The interex are very Tau like (just with humans instead of the Tau + a few other alien races) but they were already killed off-screen in one of the Horus Heresy books. I guess it's not something that can't be retconned , GW does it all the time, but I doubt they will make interex models/factions. GW still has a lot of already existing stuff they could update and make better models of, or maybe even expand, like for the vespid, kroot and gue'vesa for the Tau faction. I have to admit that the artwork of xenos from the 9th edition really made me wonder what would it be if GW released at least some models for them.

With the way 40k is going now, and how they are making their armies work, I just wish they'd do more stuff with making some factions interchangeable, in a way their rules support. Guard are the biggest culprits; I wish they had good rules, and model options, to reflect Chaos faction support, Gue'vesa, or unaware/mind-fragged allies of GSC. They just recently got a little update, but their codex is still some ways off, and with humans being so widespread, and tied to almost every faction, it could be neat for them to be able to cohesively join other forces, since they are currently lower-tier, anyway, and it would be easier than a while new model line. That would be nice, too, but it took this long for Sisters.

@@sonofjack6286 No. The Eldar did not make them, but incorporated them into their mythology. They’re the remnants of far Older Ones then them.

We do know what some of them look like thanks to UR-0205 and the iron kin of the leagues of vatoan.

Men of Iron are robots. They could take on any look TBH. Doubt there was one standard model although for simplicity sake I'm sure GW would go that route. I will say none of them will look like cows. That's all I can confirm.

Space Slann or make Tyranids into Lizardmen?

According to the Necrons there are aliens called the Old Ones who use Lizard men supposedly in 40k :P

Slann used to be a thing in 2nd Edition, then T'au Empire replaced the Space Lizardmen in the 3rd Edition. T'au Empire were meant to be Fantasy Lizardmen equivalents according to Gav Thorpe.

Bonus points if Slann (40k lizardmen faction) are chaos-aligned. We know they were around for the war in heaven, alongside Eldar and Orks, but anything could've happened since then.
