It's just weird at this point lol. I think the last 5 videos he gets punished for not dropping a simple road. He gets plowed every time, loses an important settle or even a port. And he just never learns lol. Seriously what is his reason at 9:18 for not dropping a road? He gets plowed right after because of his greed.

"Oh is the bot gonna plough me" Yes. Yes it is. Thats what happens when you end your turn with a brick and wood in your hand and you dont extend the road. You coukd have prevented that. No one knows why you held onto the road.

Orange from the first game here. That was one intense game. I apologize for the ez comment, very heated game in the end there from both Dylan and I. He blocked me all game and also did the non-binding nb trade so I was angry at him lol. I definitely got lucky in the end. GG dylighted.

I'm still in shock he didn't... Going for a 3-10-11 over 8-4-3 which has even better ore and sheep? Makes ZERO SENSE lol

The problem was he went against his gameplan. He wanted to expand to 6/3/11 and create a road network. If he had not gotten greedy and competed with black, his plan would have worked.

I don't know but lately Dylan overthinks his decisions. Some time ago he just played great game with simple tactics, great placements, card tracking and great trades. Like in this game 348 was obvious second pick. Also if you don't take it then orange gets it and is super strong. Another thing is if nobody takes other 348 and you manage to win the race against black then you are 100% winning the game with wood port near 8 sheep. And there is also 3:1 pprt to double ore with already coordinated 4s. These are just my thoughts. But i know that Dylan is a great player. Thanks for the content!

Yeah he does that a LOT. And he greeds so much too, every single game he has a point where he can drop a road but doesn't do it, and he gets punished for it right after. He's good, but he will never get rank 1.

3 10 11 is just a bad settle. Less cards. Less ore. Less sheep. Double the useless wood. If you want to win you gotta take the obvious good spot. Not attempt a trickshot setup.

I can guess from his comments that he feels the series is a bit of a waste of time for him, but honestly this is perfect DyLighted content imo. Hope he can find some passion for next season and keep producing these. I'll definitely be watching.

I don't think he expects black to plow him. Also, et had so many other options, 6-3, 8 wood, and brick has a lot of trade value. Keeping was the play I think, when you look at the final result it sucked..

@@XARCHIIKILZI don't agree. There's one bot, one guy that makes plenty brick and one guy who he himself thinks is leading by a mile! Who is he trading with? And the 6-3-11 is important for sheep production. Also helps further road. Plus in general is a great spot.

In game 2 when orange placed on the 5/10 you said it was the stupidest move, but really they were just doing exactly what you would advise them. They could have looked up your past season rank and noticed you were a strong player and saw your strong position and purposefully killed your game. They set up on double 5 double 10 which makes their game high variance, so if they are a relatively unskilled player they still have chances to win if the 5 and 10 go off that game. Plus "no wheat equals defeat." Maybe you lost to a viewer :)

It was a stupid move and no, he would not advise to do that. And placing primarily to hurt someone's game is usually not a good move, especially when Dylan is not even the strongest player at this table.

Why on earth would you not drop the road to 6 3 11 on the same turn you got your first city. 0 shot blue beats you there, holding cards does nothing for you because your next move is always to go to that spot. Just a bad play
