I am so inspired to return to my place of birth and sample some of these amazing new dining experiences. I left Sri Lanka (Ceylon) for the UK, back in 1965 and have never been back! God willing I would like to return in 2025 (that's 60 years having been away). I will arm myself with more of your amazing presentations and be well prepared. Hey Shenelle. When you do any reviews can you please highlight areas that are wheelchair accessible because I have a son in a wheelchair and would love to visit Sri Lanka with him to enjoy the country, the people, the culture, the food- but it is really difficult to know what is wheelchair accessible. I know lots of people around the world who are wheelchair users and would love to come to Sri Lanka, but are nervous because there is not alot of information available about accessiblity.

Here in SL for a week on vacation from Bangladesh. Spending 6 days in Colombo (and one in Weligama). Already covered six of these cafes in the last three. Will cover the the other 2 (T-lounge and Kiku) in the rest of my trip. Amazing, chill places!

Great video and picks! I agree with all the choices except 'The Commons.' Personally, I'd replace it with Grind Colombo, Butter Boutique, Kaffi, or Life's Good Kitchen. Any of these would be a better fit. Awesome work on the video, keep it up!

The new train service began on the 1st February 2024 to Trincomalee. Maybe you can check it out and recommend some places to stay and attractions to visit.

Kangaroo cabs is my favorite cab service in Sri Lanka. If you plan accordingly normally they arrive ahead of time. They do have a Van service as well for large groups & long trips.

3 things 1> that Intro is a Authentic Colombo - the sound of the breadman in tuktuk in the morning is "Colombo " (loved it when i stayed there) 2>She is right guys the Leyland buses rock !! but also its Uber-1 Pickme-2 😁🤘 3>You guys Shen & Shehan need to Check out Cafe113 (behind the Gangaramaya temple) thats a good one too !
