Rooted have the potential to be the next BIG game like DayZ

They really need to make a Days Gone 2 but if they do I hope it’s story is just as good as the first and the gameplay being more scavenging and more vehicles would be awesome. More open world exploration.

liked the video a lot but you really didn't explain a lot about the games itself especially the last one, only about the background details like funding and release date and kinda just let the clips themselves explain which might give viewers the wrong idea of what the base game is really about.

i can also recomend project zomboid its emmersive. the game has potato graphics but thats for its style. the game is very grindie and if u die to a zombie ur cheracter will turn into a zombie with all the loot you had and need to find it to get ur loot back. the game has a massive map with zombies that never respawn(if u activate no respawnrate in the sandbox options). if u have no respawning zombies the zombies will die fully and the corpse will not despawn but turn into bones. the game has modding so u can add tanks or more guns. the game also has infinite replayability. u can make a cheracter with alot of traits. the game has a traits system where there is a positive traits and to add more u need to have a negative trait. the game has alot of bars for skills like tailoring, electrical, carpentry ... .

Still nothing that can match DayZ! That damn game! So captivating but full of bugs and limits to its own object and construction mechanics! The only one that captivated me for thousands of hours of gameplay but in the end can't handle/support the mechanics it offers! There's nothing else like it in the world! It has an endless amount of mechanics for base building, object inventory management, cars, survival, ballistic warfare, and weapons...

Why title it games in 2023 and your very first one doesn’t come out until 2024?

How is it that survival games are some of the most wishlisted games in the world, and yet they're still almost exclusively produced by independent studios and tiny dev teams? Why tf aren't AAA studios cashing in on this interest? Imagine a game (WITH SOME DEGREE OF SINGLE PLAYER POTENTIAL), like The Long Dark, Kingdom Come: Deliverance, The Forest, Green Hell, DayZ, SCUM, 7 Days To Die, etc., (i.e., a REAL survival game where you have to eat food and drink water or you die,) made with even a fraction of the budget from a studio like CDPR, Bethesda, Larian, even Ubisoft, Activision, EA, etc... Now, I don't have a lot of confidence that a studio like Activision or EA would make a good (actual) survival game if they tried, but not because of actual inability. Imagine if a studio with tens or hundreds of millions of dollars to put into development, developed a real, GOOD survival game. It could be absolutely legendary.

Why is some beautiful consent being made by the same dudes that make you micro purchase parts to your base to make it actually habitable then when you build the base the game engine can't handle it.

Why does "rooted" look EXACTLY like "the day before"?... (the zombie game that disappeared from steam after being the most wishlisted- without any release), just looks slightly re-textured/barely changed... the gas station outside and inside is like an exact replica from the trailers for "the day before", and they both have that very similar vibe of "the division"....
