I must reccomend you dive cenote Zapote it is like no other cenote you will ever dive. The videos you will find on you tube don’t make it justice. Great collection of videos. 👍

i get to go scuba diving in cozumel in a little over a week and for the second day we’re taking a boat to the mainland to dive a couple cenotes and i am so excited!!! thank you for this video!

I dove Chak mool. A great beginner Cenote dive. Tajma Ha is for a more advanced diver. It has a dome and when you ascend you look up and there are hundreds of bats. A little tip. I make a Cenote dive my last dive of my vacation. After ocean diving all week it's a great way to rinse my dive gear.

Did 4 dives in Tajma Ha, fantastic! Mexico plays fast and loose with caverns. Must have a cave certified instructor on the dive. Most likely going to dive PIT/ NICTE HA in January 2023

I think that in order to see almost every single spot in one or two dives would be to have the Pegasus Thruster Diver Propulsion Unit that mounts onto the back of your scuba tank and you can fly through the water! It's like an underwater scuba diver jet pack!! It's really cool and you should get this piece of hardware for your scuba gear! It's amazing! It's also hands free diver propulsion!

I would LOVE to dive with you guys!!!! It would be a dream come true!! And if you ever decide, I will instantly let you guys know who I am! And I would definitely love to try out that piece of equipment as well!! Thank you and you don't have to have a normal person from Ohio not come and scuba dive with a very popular scuba diving KZfaq channel! I mean what could go wrong? Ha! Great video, I'm schedule to Dive Casa Cenote next week as one of my open water certification dives. Do you recommend a pink GoPro lens for that dive or is the light good enough that I won't need it?

No red lens as you will have a flashlight and it’s all artificial light 💡:)

The best for me : Dos Ojos , Dreamgate, Carwash, Zapote , Maravilla (for sunlight)…then Angelita . Didn’t appreciate Casa Cenote , even if we saw a beatiful croc (2 meters)

Hi, If I'm a certified open water diver do you know how much is the fee to dive in the Cenote? Or should I go with the Dive Center in order to get in?

You must go with a guide (who is a fully trained cave diver) in order to do the cenote cavern dive In addition to the $100-200 USD the dive shop charges, the cenotes also charge about $200 pesos each

Thanks for posting the great videos. I might add, don't go during high seasons where crowds can really stir up water, when you won't have visibility as presented on the videos. Divers under 15 years of age are not allowed in caverns. They should instead have a buoyancy test for some the tighter caverns, like swim through hoops without touching.

These are cavern dives, and you should be cavern certified to safely dive them, the fact that the dive shops take people down there doesn't mean, people, do not need a certificate.

The Yucatan's caverns do not require a cavern certification for two reasons. First, almost all the sites in Quintana Roo either require a professional guide belonging to the local association or a full cave certification to dive without a guide. So there's little safety risk. Second is economics. Cavern certified divers in the United States & Canada are rare. Tourists from those two countries make up the bulk of visiting cenote divers. Requiring a cavern certification would eliminate much of the revenue supporting the area's dive shops and cenote attractions.
