I have been a holistic master esthetician for over thirty years, I am 55 and I do nothing invasive to my skin ( no injectables, nothing) and I don’t wear foundation or concealer to cover up my skin. I teach beauty and aging naturally. In the 36 years I have cared for skin I have found that the more invasive procedures you do the more your skin ages. Also foundation and concealer are the number one cause of acne and aging besides the sun. I agree we need to care for our skin but the fact is we all have normal skin at every age and it is what we do to it daily and weekly and monthly that changes it. The products she recommends do nothing to feed the skin and change it. Dermatologist know they can give you a pill or procedure and so they don’t look at the full picture. 🙌🏻🍑Lisa

This Derm Dr. forgot the one thing that made a gorgeous difference in my face - distilled water. I have a Derm Dr friend who teaches at a NYC hospital too (I'm not her patient). She said KISS - keep it simple stupid. After you cleanse with a gentle cleanser (you can use tap water) then spritz your face with distilled water. Reason for that is if you have hard water (I don't have a clue) my Derm Dr friend said there's a bunch of "gunk" in regular water. Then am put on Vit C (I use Timeless because it's cheap) and sunscreen and at night cleanse, distilled water, Retinol and Retin A. There. Done. I get the .05 Retin A from my Derm Dr. friend for free. If I didn't I would get Retinol. Neck too - don't forget. I don't even have to use a moisturizer and my Dr. friend said that's a good thing. :-))))))

I can’t handle the goofy banter between the hosts ... it’s fucking embarrassing! Lately I have to click off before they even get to the segment. Smh.
