This is very overdue from me! In this video, you will see an ADL Enviro200 getting absolutely pelted around Wrexham on the Route 8 to Caia Park, one of many Wrexham town circulars.
One thing about these Enviro200s, however, is that they’re fitted with the much-disliked ZF AS-Tronic Semi Automatic gearbox, and this is one of the batch of 14 which reside at Wrexham. Unfortunately, it’s not the best of the batch, but it’s got some shove and it sounds very good in the high rpm, as shown repeatedly at different points of the video.
I would just like to thank the driver for making this possible. Unfortunately, it wasn’t able to be done on a route with faster roads, but this is probably the best we’re going to get for a while.
