The correct alliance is, and shall always be, regardless of anything else: atreides and bene gesserit. With merely three cards you can win almost any leader to leader duel, period. The lad gun is the only reasonable exception, and even then the enemy needs other weapons as well or you can just use the voice to deny the gun’s use. This is so powerful for fights, gaining spice, and keeping casualties low that even if the bene gesserit player, ai or human, has lost all his troops I’ll still want to allign with him because I can then single-handedly fight off much larger forces, especially once you unlock the kwisatz haderach and can therefore take on forces up to 7 points stronger than yours and win.

Meh. Space Guild and Emporer--just own the economy. Sure, you're not as strong, but by crippling everyone else's cash flow, you don't need to be. Infinite reserve top-ups.

I played Dune just maybe 5 times and already knew these “strategies” I believe most players are the same. Expected much better insights, so dissapointed ☹️
