They are everything that's wrong with Mobile gaming in this day and age, they steal content from other creators, fake game footage, and are a microtransation mess.

It reminds me of the Ben Drowned creepypasta gameplay segments. It just has that very specific flavor of wierd and borderline creepy, with the assets of the game being altered enough to resemble a fever dream one might have about said game.

Fun fact Got a GBA game that has two YuGiOh spin-off games in one One of them has codes to unlock more characters The codes are still there BUT Now trying to use them takes you to the Choose Which Game So you cannot unlock some characters in the board game spin-off in that version!

Accepting sponsors isn't the issue, accepting one from Raid Shadow Legends is. The game is a massive meme for a reason. It is well known for being shovelware crap with no depth, deceptively marketed as something mindblowing.

​@@Edgemaster16 Wasn't any Monster Hunter game, just Monster Hunter Tri. Any game after that has had no anti-cheat whatsoever, including Monster Hunter World (which was the Monster Hunter title which pushed online connectivity the most)

@@zacharyhefner2208 incorrect. You can trigger the "auto piracy" just fine by mistake. I was playing the game via "game sharing", this lets you play games from another family member on steam, as long as they own the game on Steam. But if that other family member starts playing a game a little popup shows in the corner and you have 5 minutes to save a quit. Normally you just get kicked out of the game, but in this particular case you keep playing but in pirate mode. This was only more recently patched out of the game. But I tried to send a message to the devs about this, and they just insulted me.

My thoughts exactly. That stuff feels too random to have been done intentionally. Also, _deleting_ a save file is one thing, but supposedly making it so _saving your game_ actually _keeps_ all that shit _broken_ sounds like a terrible idea... if done on purpose. This is a _single-player_ game we're talking about, there'd be no need for such severe "consequences".

Honestly I was having a similar thought. It's a game infamous for having to come with a free expansion pack because it had a major memory leak issue that they couldn't solve.

@@Timmir00 That was actually a myth that exploded in popularity. The game uses the Expansion Pack pretty extensively which wouldn't be possible in a last-minute fix like that. Its a commonly believed one though due to how long its been around, but one of the creators elaborated and explained such.

This was my thought, too! DK64 is barely stable as it is; forcefully messing around with code that's held together by chewing gum and a prayer is just asking for trouble.

That is right, using more than two cheats will instead prevent you from unlocking any achievements. It was like that in the Xbox 360 online version anyway

That was more of a "in-game taboo/crime" than an input cheat. I do like that after you die and start at your save file everyone calls you thief just to add salt in the wound.
