When I was 19 in a violent relationship I prayed to God that I would sell my soul for the salvation of my boyfriend. For years I was lost due to the shame and lose of my soul. I am 54 now. Rededicated my life back to Christ. I heard him say "I hide your soul for such a time as this!! Hallelujah, the Lord has saved my soul. My life is filled with love and joy cuz of my savior. He loved me enough to keep me safe in his arms. He never let go and I thank him for that everyday. As far as my relationship, we are not together anymore we broke up when I was 21. I gave my life over to the Lord when I was 28 but I still was haunted by not having a soul. It was a lie of the devil and I am set free from that torment. Thank you Jesus for coming through for me once again. Your love never fails. ❤️

I should be dead right now. I’ve survived a stroke, a blood bacteria and lymphoma cancer. How many people have you ever heard who have survived all 3 of them? I’m alive today by the grace of God. I should be dead, but I’m not. I’m alive by the grace of God. I thank God for every day I’m alive. When we go through adversity in life, God is doing 1 of 2 things. To teach us lessons we would never learn any other way or God wants to make us stronger. When I got the phone call from the VA Hospital my 1st thought was that they were wrong or kidding. My 2nd thought was, OK, God, how do we get through this together? I knew that I wasn’t going to survive without God by my side.

I'm 17 going on 18 and looking to reconnect my relationship with God. I had been forced into religion from a young age. I absolutely loved God and had the closest relationship with him up until I turned 14. The reason I turned away is because my mother became hostile towards me if I would sing any song that wasn't christian music. She tried to claim that I made these other singers into a "god" when I simply just sang along like one does. At this point christian music was still the majority that I listened to. I became so sick of it that I thought "if this is christianity, I want nothing to do with it". I soon realized that not every christian is that way, I went to church with my dad and saw how everyone was showing me the love of God. Once I turned 16, I tried to reconnect with God privately because I didn't want my mother to become so strict with me again. She walked in on me reading my bible and praying, started to become somewhat sweet again and backed off for a while. But as soon as I tell her that I want to major in classical music in college, she starts becoming hostile and trying to control my life again telling me I only need to major in christian music and become a worship leader. I am now in college and trying my best to reconnect. On the bright side she's starting to accept that opera is the talent that God has blessed me with. God is great. I woke up at 4 in the morning feeling so disappointed and lost in myself and how much I’ve strayed from his path. I put this playlist on and God started to touch my heart again. I’ve dealt with severe depression, drug use, self harm, complete lack of self worth, longtime suicidal ideation and just a feeling of losing my soul slowly over these years. The devil is so deceiving and I don’t know know when or how I forgot that I needed God in my heart. The devil just finds your weaknesses and preys on them until your completely broken and feel you have nothing left. He makes you doubt Gods existence, his love and how much he knows your heart. The only way I can describe it is a complete disregard for God and his love and living for the flesh. Sailing away on a lonely boat away from God blindly into complete darkness. The further away you get, the worst the seas become and the harder it is to realize what direction you need to go until your completely lost. God wants to build you up and the devil lives to break you down. I have done so much damage to myself physically, mentally/spiritually and I had absolutely no hope. Just by Playing music filled with him and asking him to come back into my heart. I felt so much hope and an urge to do better and live for him.
