Madame Tussauds Amsterdam proudly welcomes a new celebrity to our capital city, as the attraction rolls out the red carpet for the wax figure of German supermodel Heidi Klum. Known for her work as an international supermodel, executive producer, and presenter, Heidi Klum is a beloved fashion icon. Her wax figure can now be admired at Madame Tussauds Amsterdam starting today.
From impressive fashion shows to being a critical judge
Heidi Klum, born on June 1, 1973, in Germany, has an impressive career. Not only has she walked the runways of the world's most prestigious fashion shows for years, but she also served as a judge and executive producer on the TV show "Project Runway" from 2004 to 2017, and as the host of "Germany's Next Topmodel." Heidi Klum is a frequent guest on red carpets, and the outfit her wax figure wears is inspired by her look at the iHeartRadio Music Awards 2022.
Ready to steal the show
Heidi personally met her Amsterdam figure and spoke about it being a very “special” moment. “It's such an honor to be part of this and it really is something that's been with me my whole life. As a little girl I was one of the fans taking photos with all these different people and now I get to stand there myself,” she said.
Previously, wax figures of Heidi Klum were launched at Madame Tussauds New York and Madame Tussauds Berlin. The wax figure of Heidi Klum in Amsterdam can be found in the Fashion section, where she stands shoulder to shoulder with none other than Anna Wintour, the legendary British-American fashion editor and former editor-in-chief of Vogue magazine. In the same space, visitors can also find the world-famous R&B singer Rihanna.
