Personally, if I had to buy it again, it would be worth it to me to play this game. But sadly, the VIta isn't as successful as the PSP was since the market has changed. That means there are few good games. You're pretty late in the game, and I'm sure most of them are available for the PS4. If you are a hardcore fan, it would be worth it. Do some research on which games you want. If you've had PS plus for a while, you're off to a good start if you "buy" the games each month. It's a slow death for Vita. Again, find some games you like and decide for yourself. We have different tastes.

IMO, despite practically 0 first party support, it's been on fire for the last year or so with Japanese AAA/AA and Western Indie 3rd Party releases like Persona 4: Dancing All Night, God Eater Ressurection/2, One Piece Burning Blood, Axiom Verge, Severed, Digimon Story Cyber Sleuth, Darkest Dungeon, several Project Diva and Atelier games, Skullgirls, Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky SC (for PSP, but just localized recently), Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel 1 & 2, Attack on Titan, Alone With You, Risk of Rain, Zero Escape 3, Grand Kingdom, Odin Sphere Liefthrasir, etc... And the trend looks like it's continuing, what with Dragon Quest Builders, World of Final Fantasy, Fate/Extella, Oceanhorn, and the Berserk Musou and probably the new Ys game on the horizon. If you like those type of games on the go, then you might want to get a Vita and/or a PS TV, a reasonably decent memory card, and a subscription to PS Plus (sales often get additional discounts and you get free access to two more games per Sony consoles evey month, some of which are occasionally Cross Buy with the Vita version from the PS3/4, and vice versa for as long as you have an active subscription).

Most of them, you can find on PS4. It would be better to invest in that, but yeah, you should decide for yourself. For me, it was worth even if don't play much anymore.

Shadow Slayer Personally, I tend to prefer games on the Vita over my PS4 since I do a lot of commuting and it tends to be $20.00 cheaper brand new. Not to mention that several of those games are Cross Buy, so I got the PS4 version as well.

@@RainingFlow19 Trails has a problem with their first games being slow, but its often necessary to set up for how good the next ones will be. Sky 1 was slow but the payoff in Sky 2 was worth it. Cold Steel 1 is slow but Cold Steel 2 was better for it. I've heard Zero is slow (playing it now, so not sure) but Azure will probably be great for it. There must be a reason why Trails fans say Azure is the best.

Im a year late to reply but ... it kinda is a JRPG dho, the "J" means Japanese, the the "G" means Game and you are Playing the Role or kat so "RP"

Technically, it's a turn-based WRPG, like Darkest Dungeon.

Child of Light sure is one of the great PS Vita games, currently has a PlayScore of *8.57*. It's not JRPG though to be on the list.
