I just got Nomad sculpt recently and am very excited to like do a whole workflow on the ipad for fun. Sculpt paint and animate all on the ipad is wild to me! Loved the tips I'm not much of a swiper I can't remember half the time but good to know anyway. Alpha lock is another good way to paint underneath line work if you have a more complex drawing to fill in. I usually use this. Swipe the layer to the right and select it then you can paint on a layer underneath. Great video EJ!

Thanks so much! It is pretty dang exciting to be able to have so much of your 3D workflow available to be done on an iPad and chill on your couch! haha Also very nice tip on the Alpha Lock! This requires a clean layer underneath to paint under or does it create it for you?

@@eyedesyn Oh my bad! I mixed together two things! . Alpha lock locks the transparent pixels so you can only draw on pixels that already exist. It works good to change colour of line art for instance or just paint over top of something you already painted to see it in a different colour. Reference you can use to set on a line art layer, then add a new layer underneath and you can color drop on it and fill the layer underneath if that makes sense

Dooo eeeet! lol I've been drawing little portrait heads before bed and it's surprisingly quick and easy to just bang things out on the ipad. When I do things on the desktop in PS I get into like "masterpiece" mode and take centuries to finish things. Not so on the ipad. Also I can do that on the couch as EJ says! It's the best 🙃

Thanks Logan! You can get by with a cheaper iPad but you're limited to the lower resolution image at this point which gives lower res texture - hopefully this is solved in newer versions but it's super exciting! Cheers!

@@JonathanWinbush Not sure why saving people's time is lame. The time stamps for some reason don't work as they usually do so it's not obvious if you don't dig into the description. Usually a big fan of EJ but all the padding is just unnecessary.
