some people say these are slow but when you've had a 50cc for 2 years going 10-15 on steep hills and 30mph max. These are like a hayabusa compared xD

Hello everyone, I have a 2021 MT 125. It’s my first bike and for learning it’s awesome. Around towns and cities it’s perfect. It’s been a really great machine to teach me how a bike works and what to do and not to do. Now I feel ready for a MT07. Let’s go!!

here in Asia(Philippines) my country, 100cc, 125cc, 150cc, are the norms. underbone bikes are the most used motorcycle here. my motorcycle sonic 150 can go 90 mph no problem. its still stock, theres no mods yet. its rare to see big bikes here 300cc and above. because traffic here is sooo chaotic!!! smaller bikes are better here for daily commutes and travels. i appreciate your channel, you make use of smaller cc bikes and still appreciate it. i mean these bikes can go anywhere like big cc bikes do, just slower. but hey, it can get you to your destination no problem. so keep it up. can you review asian motorcycles? i doubt you have one there?

yeah so true. when i watch youtube videos regarding motorcycle. i always hear in other countries saying 300cc bike is a beginners bike that should be bought by first time bikers. i just laugh hahaha. because here,300cc and above is considered a luxury bike. heck with the 1000 cc. and you cant use the full power iof big bikes here. even in expresway is limited only to 100 kph. and roads here are small and full of traffic not suitable for bigbike.

Hunter Dragon i know exactly how you feel, these guys from Uk who ride 125cc are mostly teenagers getting their first bike due to regulations on size because of their age, as soon as those kids get older they will upgrade to something biggger.. In Nicaragua where I am from, is the same as your country, 125cc or less than 200cc is the norm. And the market is flooded by low quality chinese motorcycles. Getting a higher cc motorcycle from a japanese brand like yamaha and honda is waaaaay tooo expensive, so people only get 125cc I am 25 and maaaaaaaybe one day I could get a 250 which is my fucking dream. Imagine that

@EvolutionMotovlogs
@EvolutionMotovlogs 7 жыл бұрын
Hey! If you are 17 then I would recommend taking your CBT (compulsory basic training). It's a one day course and should get you road worthy all within the day but extra training is always available. The MT is a perfect beginners motorbike. I would recommend reading articles online as to the 'basics of riding' and begin to revise where you can find everything and the highway code etc.

In my opinion mate, 100% the MT. keep in mind although sports bikes look nice they can get very uncomfortable very quickly, you don't realise until you try for yourself, unless you are really commited to getting a sportster, I wouldn't. P.s, if you're still looking, the cb125f and the cbf125 are both cheap and great bikes, the CBF125 looks like a sports bike but has an upright seating position so you might even like it.

I've been on several A-Roads, it's quite happy around 65 Mph at reasonably low revs but obviously, there's no instant over taking power. It'd be sufficient on a motorway I suspect but wouldn't want to endure too many miles on one!

I used to have a Yamaha YZF 125cc but unfortunately had a car pull Out on me when it was my right of way going 30mph. The bike is now written off. I’m 23 years old and still haven’t got a car, I have tried too but can’t get through the theory test and the cost is just triple that of a bike. So I might just get an MT125cc. They look great and much bigger than a 125cc, just to get around.

Both have same engine, so theoretically they're both the same acceleration and top speed. However, the YZF is much more aerodynamic so it is very slightly faster than the MT, but not as comfortable.

its funny with young lads wanting to make their 125cc go faster .. thy obsessed with "performance" .. in truth the idea of a 125 cc is for practice and to hone your skill ... I know , I know... you like 17 and know everything already and best rider in world lol ... I was 17 once too lol ... .. .. just wait till you older and get a bigger bike.. until then save your money .. there is NOTHING you can do to make 125cc go faster, trust me .. all youtube videos on it are bullshit it is what it is ... even if you add a "big bore" kit.. its not going to make much difference .. even if you up it to a 175cc its only about 10mph more ...don't bother ...besides if you change the CC of your bike , its NOT a 125cc anymore and you void your insurance if you have a crash
@EvolutionMotovlogs
@EvolutionMotovlogs 6 жыл бұрын
I agree, ultimately; for the most part - you can only ride faster on a 125cc by learning to handle/ride better. The cost to power ratio is very expensive, you'd need to spend several hundreds for a big bore, remap and other variables for small gains. It's more practical to save up for a bigger engine/motorbike. BUT, as you said - we've all been in this mindset before at 17.
