Born and raised here in El Paso, the content creator is actually dead on. I’ve been to the majority of these places and these places are legit about El Paso’s restaurant scene. Good video.

Fort Bliss doesn't count!🤣🤣🤣 Tell me what local down-home "greasy spoon" you grew up eating at, and I'll concede. There's absolutely nothing wrong with fine dining. You've been to these places? Good on you! But THESE places DON'T define El Paso! This video is just bursting with elite, "Caucasity" bullshit!! That's why you don't see REAL, dark-skinned EL PASOANS in it. El Paso is the Fat Burger, downtown; the taquerias on every corner; Chicos Tacos, which has been the staple for so many years. Kiki's. The Bowie Bakery. All the places the WORKING CLASS Mexicans built, and that the working class has kept alive. Places where you could get arm-length burritos as thick as footballs, packed with meaty goodness! Are they healthy food joints? Hell no! Are they heartier, heftier and more flavorful? You bet your ass! Is there more, authenticity, history, good feeling and love within the cracked walls of the diners the super rich won't go into? Damn skippy! Those mom-and-pop places are the ones that deserve to be the REAL top ten restaurants in El Paso, Texas! Tell me I'm wrong! I'll wait.

I was born and raised in El Paso too! I have lived from coast to coast none of their food compared!

I find it hilarious when someone is so obsessed with how they think Mexican food should be made they use the word authentic as if they are Mexican food ambassadors and living in El Paso makes them above everyone else 😅. These are the same people who go to other cities saying stuff like they don’t have any good Mexican food in other cities as if Mexicans only live in El Paso 😅😅😅😅😅. Funny how they will even criticize the type of beans like if you use black beans an El Paso native will say that’s not Mexican when in fact interior Mexico and in Mexico City where more Mexicans live than in El Paso they use black beans over pinto beans. These are the same people who think El Paso should only have Mexican restaurants and get mad if you include a non Mexican restaurant in this video 😅 and drive old Escalades and Yukon Denali’s wearing boots and have huge bellies acting like they have arrived and are royalty😅 . Yet where is the passion for on authentic food when those same people preaching authenticity go eat at Panda Express or Olive Garden other days ?? They don’t seem to care if those restaurants are Authentic and I know plenty of Italians and Chinese people would cringe at either one of those places 😅😅😅. It’s a good list of El Paso locations like it or not everything doesn’t have to be Mexican food .

Pls 😝😝😝😝El Paso has one good Chinese joint and one good Korean joint. That’s it. There’s No good Italian restaurants. El Paso food scene sucks compared to LA. 🤪🤪🤪🤪
