So trying to put this all on the Palestinians is a bit rich. The biggest barrier to a 2 state solution is the Israeli government. The next biggest impediment is the US. My comment was directed at the hypocrisy of our government officials constantly saying how the US supports a 2 state solution. And then doing everything it can to back an Israeli government that is committed to destroying any possibility of a Palestinian state (and using our veto power in the UN to make sure the Palestinians remain occupied and under Israeli oppression).
