The cuffs have come off. The weather is perfect and the topwater fishing season has just kicked off in New Zealand. The plan is to head wide to an offshore island that is surrounded by big fish habitat. Wash rocks, steep drop-offs, and tonnes of current. Big stick baiting rods and reels are rigs and ready to do tangle with the Yellowtail Kingfish.

My smoker winced watching that barrel Kahawai go in as a livey 😅. Haha any normal fisho would loose their shit with a school coming at the boat like that on attack mode!! Buzzing! Solid Kingi! That smile nearly split Milans face, perfect 👌. But not to be outdone Nato steps up and shows he's not just the camera man! Loved that drone shot of the hook up. Great start to my day 🤙Wholesome excitement all around

Aussie here and I love chasing kingies and snapper here. My fiance is kiwi and once we can travel across the ditch I can't wait to chase the big dogs over there. I would love to film every strike from the air!!!!!!! 😎 But it so hard to get everything lined up at the one time and I then miss all the onboard action. But they are such amazing shots 👍 I filmed a seal swimming and playing the other day with the drone 😎 looked very very cool 👍 thanks for watching 😁
