Bishops are the most underrated pieces in chess. There is one time I remember my bishop didn’t move the whole game but in the endgame i moved him just one square targeting opponent’s castle that move was devastating to my opponent because my queen was attacking the same square as my bishop. My opponent resigned. So bishops sometimes just need to move one square and just once to finish the game.
