Now in Tariqs perspective he saw his father shot but assumed his father died, Tommys perspective, Tommy "saw Ghosts last breath" which could easily been "a coma" or part of his plan was to "fake his death" which is also why Ghost told Tommy "let him go" not to kill Tariq why? Cause his plan was to take care of Tariq later on after Tariq learns his lesson if he took the street route. I do believe when Ghost returns we gon really see what really happened the night Ghost was shot in Power. Ayy Terry in BMF was shot in the face and survived, Franklin in snowfall was shot on his back 3 times by his girlfriend and survived, Meech in BMF was shot in the chest just like Ghost and survived, Tommy got shot for the first time in Force and survived, they can easily bring back Ghost if they wanted to, he also remains the face of Power what that mean? I think one of biggest mistake they made and this show has made a lot of them, is coming out saying Ghost 2.0. I think they thought we would like him or but the fans of O. G Power will never be cool with Tairq shooting Ghost. Now what they should have done was allowed Tairq the build up his street smarts, build his body while leveling up his fight game. And as he was able to grow and become more wise in the game, then they could say like father like son. But right off the bat, no way they've been pushing so hard to try to turn Tairq into Ghost which most likely he would not be, he wasn't raised in the streets the way Ghost and Tommy were. Tariq and Brayden they both came up two little rich spoiled kids soft as baby food,. They have not faced going hungry, having to hustle to eat, to survive that's why Tommy and Ghost are completely from different worlds from Tariq. This is what gave Ghost the edge he could seamlessly blend into two worlds like he told Simon Stern, "I have to constantly transform to meet everyone's expectations". "People take you at face value," when they see Tariq, they know already that he comes from money and that he is trying to be street he isn't fooling anyone. That's another reason Tairq and Brayden don't have the respect. I think the show has gone about trying to force Tairq and Brayden to be the next Ghost and Tommy all the wrong way. And if Lorenzo and Monet, even Cane and Drew are hustling in the streets, like they claimed to be, and have the respect on their name as they do, there's no way they don't know who Ghost and Tommy are, their names are synonymous with the streets.

Ghost is dead. I gave up on the writers bringing him back. Especially after the cancelation of the show. I think they are going to kill Tariq saving his mom and maybe others as well so his character comes full circle
