How much is the compost ....thank God we have mushrooms Farms where I live the mushroom soil is cheep 20 bucks they will fill up your truck so much the springs will be dragging the ground....takes about 3 hours to shovel out and spread out

Won't mowing with a clipping bag attached on the mower draw up the compost into the bag? What would you suggest in this case?

dak I would suggest top dressing and keeping the lawn mower on mulching at a higher length but dont let it go to long. Just a little off the top and only bag if your lawn gets soggy and you absolutely have to bag. Keeping it mulched at a consistent level you wont take nutrients from your lawn.
