Tops Storm Vector VS Bark River JX5. A Short Chop Off

Unfortunately, I had to cut the video short. I cut myself and forgot to bring my medical kit, and on top of that, a van load of kids pulled into the park and made continuing about impossible.
We will revisit this pair again and do a little more in depth review as soon as I get a chance. In the meantime..here's a quick view of what these 2 heavy choppers are capable of.

The tops is a beast. I always carry a couple bandaids in the wallet. Come in handy often

I usually have a small medical kit in my pack, but I grabbed a different one today, and rushed out the door without even giving it a thought..bad move, lol

This man is my hero and long lost relative. I wear the same shoes which are called molester 11s by millennials and I cut my finger on the storm vector too

Sharp, sharp, yep, they will cut. Both knives are nice. Even though the Tops is $200USD and the Bark River runs about $330USD I still gravitate to the JX5, I like the design. Always keep a pocket full of band aids when playing with knives, one always want to bite ya. LOL

Great demo brother and way to take one for the team!! LOL. Always have a small first aid kit my man. I love Bark River but that TOPS chopped on another level entirely. The Barkie would be better for batoning between the two.

I know right? I have a med kit in my regular pack, but grabbed a different back pack and just threw a few things in it..bad mistake, lol. This Storm Vector is a real beast. That tree is old dead seasoned almost concrete like hard, and it just sunk in like it was nothing!

You should try the Condor Village Parang. It won't hold up in edge retention with those, but I wanna see the chopping.

Not to bad, but for some reason, it bled like crazy. I got blood all over everything,my pants, shirt, both knife sheaths, anything I touched lol.

The real question here is the storm vector a better chopper than the el chete lol, your going to have to quit making them so sharp you get cut alot lol

It's crazy..I just reached down to pick it up and barely touched the edge right in front of the choil, lol. I would have kept filming after I got the bleeding stopped, but those kids piled out of the van and started raising hell. I was not far away from the tennis courts.
