I love it. I just bought my first mini cnc router, a Sainsmart Genmitsu 3018pro. I just installed limit switches and a z probe. I'd love to have a 3d printer to print parts like you did. I can see so much potential with this machine.

Excellent job! I just made a MPCNC within the last few weeks and I am very intrigued by this heavier design. My only concern would be the longevity of the V-Wheels and how they would hold up to loads compared to bearings. I see you used PLA and said it took about 200 hours. What basic settings did you use when printing? nozzle size, # of walls/perimeters, layer thickness, infill type, infill percentage...

Bonjour, beau travail. Merci pour tous vos efforts et votre travail et pour avoir fourni toutes les données. Une note sur l'axe X: Les rouleaux au milieu des 3 rouleaux ne vous sont d'aucune utilité. Au contraire, ils vous causent des problèmes supplémentaires. Si les rouleaux du milieu sont plus hauts que la gauche ou la droite, ils s'inclinent à gauche ou à droite. 2 roulettes sont meilleures et suffisent en termes de stabilité. Vous pouvez le voir plus tard dans l'image de fraisage. J'utiliserais des bagues excentriques (Aliexpress) pour pouvoir régler les rouleaux de haut en bas sans jouer dans tous les axes. Vous pouvez ajuster cela encore et encore en fonction de l'usure des roulettes. Vous ne pouvez pas faire ça avec vos doublures. Vous pouvez également utiliser une broche filetée M10 (ou M14, qui a un pas de 2 mm). Ils sont moins chers, il vous suffit de faire les noix vous-même et de changer votre conception pour les impressions 3D. J'ai retiré la broche Tr 8 dans l'axe Z de mon imprimante 3 (anet A6) et installé une broche filetée M8 pour cela. J'ai fait la mère moi-même sur le modèle du Tr8, pour que cela tienne 1: 1 sur la photo. Plus besoin d'ajuster l'axe Z si vous devez enfiler le filament dans l'extrudeuse. Cordialement W. G.

Hi, I very appreciate your design on start and I have downloaded the files, I have one week that when I start printing parts :) and I have some of the parts from my laser machines what I use for a rebuild this one what is mace better front of Chinese kit, like this I have more option (CNC router/CNC Dremel/laser engraver and some 3D printing) nice possibility on size very customizable on your space. Great build! I like the 6x3 C Beam extrusion idea, although it's unfortunate you can't utilize the space inside for a cable chain or linear drive system.

Hi there, nice work. Thank you for all your efforts and work and for providing all the data. A note about the X axis: The rollers in the middle of the 3 rollers are of no use to you. On the contrary, they cause you additional problems. If the middle rollers are higher than left or right, then they either tilt left or right. 2 castors are better and are sufficient in terms of stability. You can see that later in the milling image. I would use eccentric bushings (Aliexpress) to be able to adjust the rollers at the top and bottom without play in all axes. You can adjust this again and again depending on the wear on the castors. You can't do that with your liners. You can also use M10 (or M14, which have a 2mm pitch) threaded spindle. They are cheaper, only you have to make the nuts yourself and change your design with regard to 3D prints. I removed the Tr 8 spindle in the Z axis of my 3 printer (anet A6) and installed an M8 threaded spindle for it. I made the mother myself on the model of the Tr8, so that this fits 1: 1 in the picture. No more adjusting the Z-axis if you have to thread the filament in the extruder. best regards W. G. You are getting really good at this. Wonderful build. I wonder if additional horizontal V slot wheels on the X axis (perpendicular to the wheels on top) would increase or decrease stiffness. Keep up the good work.

I came here to excuse myself for my bad words some time ago :D I was declaring your machine as a "Suicide Machine" (you may remember xD) because the Z axis could not handle my 2000w heavy Milling spindle (which i should not have expected in the first place because it was built for a lighter Makita Spindle). However i would like to praise you for your beautiful and perfect work of machine art. All the measurements of the X and Y Axis are PERFECT and i am sure the Z Axis is working fine for Makita too. I decided to reprint the machine once again and re-designing some parts of the X and Z axis so that it works for my 2000w Motor. There are now two X Axis in paralell septerated by 15cm space, the Motor is BETWEEN them and is being guided by 4 linear rods instead of two, and two threaded rods pulling the motor up and down (used your nema 23 version) Once more: You did a great job with all your big cnc machines and i never came across any better machines in this size. Thank you for all the work and for the awesome video documentation on how to put the machine together!

Waouuu j'avais visionné rapidement la 1ere fois mais là, je suis impressionné..les V slots ( même si je connaissais ta video..), les idees pour ne pas qu'ils bougent c cool...les joues pour tenir les profilés 4'30environ...les renforts...l'axe Y....bref gros travail de conception ...! le coup des cales pour le reglage des jeux sur l'axe Z est une excellente idee aussi....cool egalement le moteur de l'axe Z avec son reglage par les lumieres....j'aime beaucoup les protections pour les electroniques...vraiment du travail de pro...en plus ta CnC est au final tres belle....me concernant tu verras que je me suis inspiré de tes supports avant et arrieres pour les moteurs en Y mais redimensionnés pour mes Nema 23...! tu es sous Fusion 360...? Vraiment un SUPERBE travail...J'adore...à+ ...Philipppe
