Hello everyone! This is my first of many fitness vlogs! I hope you enjoy this what I eat in a day as a VEGAN teenager! I hope you love these videos and want to see more what I eat in a day with my vegan/plant based diet and lifestyle. Living healthy and eating vegan is very important to me so I am so happy to share this with you! These are easy vegan meals that anyone can do whether you're a vegan teenager or not. This is also a great way to get in shape for summer, tone up, or lose weight. Eating healthy and vegan is a lifestyle change for the better! There are many variations of the vegan diet, you can do raw til 4 which includes a raw diet and some days I will do that and I can show you what to eat on a raw vegan diet. Other days I will just show you standard vegan what I eat in a day which shows how to eat vegan. If you need to know what is vegan or what is vegetarian I have an entire video about that! These vegan meals, simple vegan meals, are delicious! How to start being vegan is a concern no more!

I'm so sorry to hear about your grandfather's passing! He was actually the reason why I started watching your channel. He would come into the office that I work in and gush about how proud he was of you and encouraged us all to watch you and now we are all avid subscribers:). My uncle was vegan but he only ate salad, nothing else! The doctor told him it was unhealthy and he wasn't getting enough protein or nutrients period. So I used to think vegans only ate salad and it wasn't healthy 😂😂😂! Completely wrong!

Parmetries I felt stupid for a while but apparently a lot of people think that before they read more into it! If I didn't like everything you aren't supposed to eat as a vegan, I'd try it. Very healthy lifestyle if done properly, my uncle is crazy 😂😂😂!

You can totally still try it, even if you like meat and dairy. For me, it's half health and half moral. Not going to lie, for most, going vegan is really hard... especially if you like your meats and dairy products. So rather than encouraging you to go vegan, I encourage you to try it for a week to benefit both you and the animals :)

madai fer you could predominantly eat a vegan diet though! You'll be surprised to see how easily you can replace a lot of the ingredients that you mustn't eat on a vegan diet :) Or just straight up refuse to eat those foods! When I told my mum that I won't eat meat anymore she tried to make me eat fish; I burst out crying and refused bc I imagined the fish on my plate swimming in the sea 😅 I was secretly vegan for 7 months last year but since I had/ have an ED I went vegetarian for a while. I recently went (secretly) vegan again and I'm feeling better than ever! (By Secretly vegan i mean that my family doesn't know I'm vegan and i just say that i don't like the food they've made)

madai fer You can always try some little things such as trying to leave out as many animal products and eat the things that don’t come from animals. You could even take it a step further and sit down and watch a movie like What the Health or Earthlings Or forks over knives or Cowspiracy with your mom that might help her understand why you are interested in avoiding animal products And be more excepting of your food choices you’re trying to make for yourself. veganism is a lifestyle. Everything you do, wear, eat, use, etc. cannot involve the exploitation of animals (wearing leather, using makeup with animal ingredients/tested on animals). JUST eating a vegan diet is different, and most people do that for the health benefits.

There's a word in French ( at least) that makes the difference between plant-based and vegan. We call the plant-based "végétaliens" ( vegetalian) and the vegans " véganes". So this kind of confusion doesn't exist anymore.

I love this! I work at a smoothie/juicebar and you should totally try the tropics citrus: pineapples and oranges which is super good and refreshing or the makis regular which has carrot, apples, mango and oranges and is super good for energizing!! All super healthy juices too

Emily Young the animals give a fuck. thats why its impirtant to distinguish between vegans and plantbased. vegan do it mostly for ethical reasons, they do it for animals and environment, they dont contribute to the death and suffering of animals, whether its from food, clothing, makeup, hygene products, zoos, circuses etc, thus making it a lifestyle. whereas plantbased people just do it for their health/diet, and although thats good, on the other hand they dont rlly care about the animal aspect, so this means they wear cruelty clothings, makeup, visit aquariums etc. ive even met a plantbased hunter, they eat plantbased but they hunt and skin animals fur alive to sell to corporation for money. so no, vegan and plantbased people are not that much the same, one cares for all, and the other only cares about themselves

And that's awesome! Like, even if you're not vegan and rather be a vegetarian, you're still making better/more aware choices. And who knows, maybe later on you'll decide to give up dairy products too, but for now just doing what you're doing is perfectly fine too. :)

@la Sa you're the reason why I will never call my self a vegan. All you are doing is judging based on your interpretation of Veganism. For christ sake don't make it sound like a religion cause even religions say that no one is free of sins. So what if they do it for health reason. Don't you think it will still helping the world by not consuming animal product, don't you think there will be one less animal eaten because of their choice. Veganism isn't just about animals and earth; learn to care for your fellow humans too and be supportive to what ever change they make that will help themselves and those changes somehow will help the world as well.

Isabelxx_ they are different in that cycling is on an actual bike and spin is on a stationary spin bike. If you only do spin, I don't think you can say you're a cyclist and vice versa.

juice does not contain fiber. and even if it does like for example in smoothies, it's not the same. fiber needs to be intact (whole foods form) to be able to do its thing, like slowing down bloodsugar and lipid spikes.

i know i'm not Tori but temple is such a great school, i'm a little hesitant about it too but i've heard that the campus itself is very safe! i would def tour there so you can get a feel for it and ask students there any questions you have :)

So so sorry for your loss Tori I hope you are doing okay. My great aunt passed a couple weeks ago too and it was super hard for me to deal with but I know we can get through this and be strong. Also PLEASE do more vids like this I loved this!!!

My dude, honey is not vegan, making this videos title objectively incorrect. I would ask that you change the title to reflect your diet accurately. Also needless killing of any animal, including fruit flies isn't all that vegan either.

Ive been wanting to go vegan for a while now and i just found out that you cant eat honey, why? I dont want to sound ignorant or anything i just really want to know because i thought that bees make honey naturally, what harm does it make if we have honey? Again, no hate i just wanna know the reason :)

Bees make honey so they can eat it (you ever seen a bug's life, how the grasshoppers take everything from the ants? that's us); they sting to defend their colony and risk their own lives; and there are studies measuring chemicals like dopamine and behaviors that show they feel stress and get depressed (www.psychologytoday.com/us/blog/animal-emotions/201310/why-dogs-hump-and-bees-get-depressed-the-state-animals); also under the conditions of beekeeping, colonies often collapse; and the bee population, which is important for pollinating a LOT of plants, is in danger worldwide. Hannah Cat that’s so cool! I’ve begged my parents to let me go vegetarian but they think that I need the nutrients and blah blah because at this age I can’t change my diet so drastically because I’m a teenager and what not. I’ve given them enough information about it, promised them that if they let me I will cook my breakfast, lunch and dinner and will not give them any trouble but they just allowed me to stop eating red meats but I have to eat chicken and fish 🤷🏻‍♀️

Honey isn’t vegan. “But I eat honey so it’s okay for me” then you aren’t vegan maybe you’re vegetarian unless meat is okay for you. Whole point between vegan and vegetarian is the diary, eggs & honey. You aren’t vegan. Stop using the name, making us rest look like we are vegan just for the name

Well... I'm from Sweden and saunas are popular here so for me seeing her in the sauna with clothes on is extremely weird. Usually the saunas are in the changing room and she could have had a towel on her instead of clothes or just sports bra and panties. Must have been gross and uncomfortable wearing clothes in the sauna but maybe that's only me. In the end, I have never seen anyone with clothes on in a sauna in my whole life. Different cultures? Perhaps. So don't judge somebody for having another way of thinking.

I eat honey as a vegan too 😊 the bees that make honey pretty much get a place to live their life and do their thing as opposed to livestock where they're forced to produce a ton, live terrible lives crammed up and all that, as well as get slaughtered. So. I think bees are different haha

Sucrose (table sugar), fructose, glucose *is* natural sugar Less fibre makes your body digest it faster and have no use for it so it will spike your blood sugar and get turned into fat. Best to eat it straight from a fruit!

There's different forms of sugar! I eat a high carb diet (carbs = sugar) but its natural sugar from fruits and veggies. If I ate all processed food with a ton of processed fake sugar, that's an entirely different story

^ its the same sugar?? Sucrose is still sucrose wether you eat it processed or from a fruit, the difference is how its digested

Table sugar and sugar in fruit is the same but they have different metabolic effects because of the fibers and nutrients you are getting in the fruit. Those fibers help you process the sugar differently and therefore effecting you in a different way that candy or straight table sugar would. (I learned this a while ago so I maybe a little rusty on my facts but the basis of this is true)
