When Clayton County ends up under yet another tornado warning, no one knows just how bad things will end up.
We welcome you into our home and life everyday to share our happiest moments while chasing our dreams. Life can be hard and chaotic and we struggle through those challenges everyday, but it can also be beautiful and those are the moments that can be easy to forget in the chaos. So join our family in creating some beautiful memories.
We have seven beautiful children: Skylur (19), Charlea (18), Tearlyn (14), Braxen (12), Zane (9), Ireland (7) and Aspen (3).

Love Jar Vlogs I was in Irma too and the night before it was sprinkling and our house immediately lost power we were one of the first. After that it got bad then we got a lot of leaks but at least we’re safe. Thank god you guys are also safe!

That was a terrible storm, I am so pleased you and your family are safe Christi, that was a very serious situation to find yourself in, you are very organised at getting everyone into the basement and safe. How awful it must be for those who have lost everything because of the weather, the pics you showed were devastating, keep safe my friends.

I gotta say you're lucky we are in the middle of floods and its getting worse because its not stopped raining it already halfway up my door luckily we have an upstairs and all the power electric things were built up stairs I hope it goes down soon we managed to bring everything upstairs before it flooded so there's one good thing I guess

Thanks Dana and Arlo we are very lucky compared to our neighbors a few miles away. Some are living in tents and at the church. The main part of McGregor is shut down right now.

I congratulate you on surviving a tornado. And a helpful tip for the future: buy a NOAA weather radio. They can warn you faster than the TV and they use electricity or batteries to run.

Everyone let me tell you what it means since I know about the weather and how it happens, for a tornado you need 97% Humidity or more, hot weather, another storm on the warm waters, that when it turns in to a severe storm, then it has to be heading towards a country, and usually 4 or 5 hours after they give a tornado warning which means that there isn’t a tornado, but there is likely to be one soon, and also there is often hail that is base ball size denting cars and breaking glass, and also often extreme rain and lightning, *How to hide in a safe place during all EF scales* If there is an EF0 stay inside where your the farthest away from trees, EF1 Stay inside and stay away from all windows and doors and trees EF3 Go in the downstairs bathroom or the most centred room and also put pillows and duvets and blankets over you to avoid glass shards hitting you and stay away from power lines, trees, windows, doors, and shelves, EF4 If you have a basement, go in it immediately no matter what time or what your doing go in it when you get the warning because this EF scale can flatten buildings, if you have no basement, Evacuate, immediately, EF5 This is danger to life in a 1 mile radius or more, evacuate as soon as you can but if you can’t get in your basement IMMEDIATELY, If your in a car EF0 Stay in your care away from trees and dont move, EF1 Stay away from trees and power lines and also stay still, EF2 Stay away from trees buildings power lines don’t move, EF3 Drive out at past 85 miles per hour out of the tornadoes path and try to drive in the middle of the road since an EF3 can throw cars, EF4 Speed off at over 85 Mph and stay away from power lines and buildings and signs and posts and trees and fences and light polls, EF5 Drive off fast over 85 mph again, and try to avoid every object that is sticking up from the ground and be ware of cars since they can be tossed like paper There’s your tips, hopefully it helps if you get a tornado in the future!

I really love the excitement I feel when a severe storm comes rolling in, I get all excited, not for the damage that comes with it but the storms, I really don’t know how to explain that feeling, I love watching the news live coverage of them too, I grew up in Ohio but moved to Utah and we don’t get this stuff out here and I miss it

Cant believe that glad your okay That storm came towards me in Illinois it rained all the way up to like 8:51 AM today and there was loud thunder bright lightning and the way I realized was the storm looked exactly the same on our news channel and we had a sever thunder storm warning so we got hit to And glad it did not touchdown at the spot here in Illinois cause we have family out there and I don't like how we are starting to get hit bad cause my b-day is august first so hope their is no storms LETS STAY STRONG 💪

Holy crap. I am so glad tornadoes are rare here. Us Ohioans rarely see tornadoes luckily. I would be absolutely terrified in that situation. We've been getting nasty thunderstorms but no wind or hail with them. Stay safe!

Storm kit needs some battery powered push lights, canned ravioli, bottled water, and a portable/hand crank radio/phone charger as well as a battery powered weather radio. Not only will you get weather info, you csn also get disaster info in case your area does get hit. Dont forget fresh batteries as well😊

Just feel lucky nothing bads happened to your family or house. We recently had a tree fall on our house.

I find these videos pretty interesting and scary because where I live we never really experience storms or tornadoes. Only 2 this year, that I experienced.and they were my first ever storms. Storm/ hurricane Ophelia and this other snow storm from a really cold place in the world, forgot the name of the country. I'm from Ireland.

That line that we all saw is a shelf or a wall cloud. It was not a funnel cloud. Shelf or wall clouds are an indication for a sever storm. I love the way you saw the cloud and had every one in the basement. Stay safe.

Hi. I'm from Iowa but have lived in Ventura, CA for the last 30+ yrs. I really appreciated your video of the tornado damage.You need to get a nice little solar charger. Put it in a window. When the electricity goes out & your phone is low you're still good. The charger is about the same size as the phone. I charge mine, while I walk, on my backpack. You can leave it on the dash of your car, window sill, to charge. I like it because I don't have to remember to plug it in, have it by an outlet or rely on electricity. If our electricity goes out I run my fan on one of them.

I love storms and tornados. We have five kids the three younger ones I always place in safety zone and then myself and my two older ones we go outside for photos and video blogs. I have chased them, and have gotten some of the best footage ever of them. Your kiddos are beautiful btw. I am going to be one of your new followers.

I remember this day so well! I was in Rock Island at a church camp and my friends and I were outside walking from the dinning hall to our small group session when I got a tornado warning on my phone. By the time we got there we were soaked to the skin, the wind had picked up quite a bit and the clouds were moving very quickly.

I could never be in that situation. I have a huge fear of that, even the weather channel only saying it's a sever storm watch, i go crazy, fully shaking, crying and sometimes screaming depending on how sever it is

In February of this year we had a tornado rip through our town and the town over 2 people lost their lives due to a tree that fell on them luckily our house was fine but it was crazy!

Very nice shelf cloud on that storm. Likely some very gusty winds with that. Tornadoes almost rarely ever come from shelf clouds those are formed from the winds flowing out from under the storm forward.
