The first 10 seconds looks like a tornado, especially with the light flash. Good catch! At the mouth of Parley's we were getting pounded with pea sied hail, heavy rain and the BEST thunder I have heard in SLC in 40 years. Great storm, glad you got a chance to video this. I wonder why I didn't hear about this on the news, especially with NWS calling it a tornado.

this is rare, trust me i am from utah and never have i ever seen a tornado. i still live there.

i was in that tornado before it happend i saw a black curtain and i saw lightning so i am like TORNADO TORNADO i got a alert some how! scary wow!

Nope it’s indeed a tornado they confirmed it’s a EF1 with winds at 110MPH. It does look like a dust devil doesn’t it. 😅

I linked to the NWS page in the description saying that it was, indeed, an F1 tornado - for a bit at least.
